High quality metal with strong shaft connection. I don't see these ever breaking. They are a brighter chrome than the original brushed nickel but I experimented on the extra by creating the brushed finished with a scotch-bright scouring pad. Looks like original now. Lastly, this wasn't supposed to be a match for my knobs but shaft dimensions were the same. They did stick out more as others have stated but I removed the metal insert and gently drilled out a small plastic nub down inside. I re-installed the metal insert, and was able to push the knob onto the shaft much further to the perfect height!

Wow! I’ve replaced my GE stovetop knobs 2x with the GE brand knobs (much more expensive and harder to find). But now I have two knobs that have broken and decided to go the cheaper route with these. 6 for the price of one GE. And I’m blown away by the quality!! I was expecting the same plastic feel but these are real metal, heavy duty! They fit perfectly however they don’t sit as close to the surface as the originals but I actually prefer that little gap of space so I can clean under them easily. Very, very impressed with the quality! Hoping these last a lot longer than the brand name!

Two of them broke plastic shaft immediately upon use

I previously bought some "universal" knobs that were made of metal and plastic and also included goofy plastic adapters and they *looked like the originals*, BUT that set of knobs was a failure because of the always-loose adapters. THIS new set of knobs is a (qualified) WIN on my fifteen year old GE Profile range because they directly fit onto the shafts of the valves, the pointer points the right way(!) they are all metal, no plastic at all. They function exactly as you'd expect and their downsides are aesthetic quibbles. These knobs fit at the same height overall as the original knobs *BUT* there's a gap under them of about a third of an inch. The original knobs were "skirted" making the gap much smaller. These knobs are not a direct match of the original knobs' style but its not really obvious to other people except that these knobs are POLISHED where the range has otherwise 'brushed' stainless trim.

These metal knobs are better than the original plastic one that came with the stove. They do stick out a bit more than the originals but still work. I needed 6 knobs for my stove, however the knob for my lower oven is a different configuration than the other burners so I didn’t use all 6. If one would have had a reverse configuration it would be perfect! They are sturdy and have a nice feel to them. Installation was simple - pull the old ones off and push the new ones on!

After going thru 3 different companies knobs finally these are the best quality and feels heavy and great

Me gustaron mucho, se sienten mejor fuertes y resistentes, mejor que las originales. El único detalle es que son 6 y mi estufa es de 7 así que me faltó uno.

Muy buen producto, mejor que los de plástico. Pero en lugar de 6 piezas deberían de venir 7 ya que la perilla del horno también requiere una igual y se ve diferente respecto a las nuevas
