Can it hold one of those Bleeding Candles - without the candle sliding off?

Not if you’re using a taper candle, it’s too narrow. But a wider candle would work, though you might have to make some adjustments to the bottom of it. That would look pretty cool though. Going to go rummage around and see about finding a candle for this….!

if i turn it sideways can it hold a guitar?

I wouldn’t trust it to. Also I don’t the material/ texture of the hand would not be forgiving on the guitar. The grasp of the hand isn’t closed enough to hold it and the fingers do not move at all. Very cool idea tho!
