This is an upgrade from the original components. These will last longer than the original components (2 year's) I expect these to last well past 4.

All of the parts were included that were needed to complete the job. I am pretty handy doing this kind of stuff but took me a 2+ hours to complete. I have only had this grill for 2 years. the grill plates were rusting through. The new ones appear to be a heavy guage stainless steel. I have a Char-Griller 5050 and this kit worked perfectly. I would recommend this kit to others!!

The holes in the rear mounting brackets were much smaller than any of the provided hardware. It’s possible self tapping screws were supposed to be provided. I drilled out the holes, but then there weren’t enough screws, washers and nuts. Fortunately some of the old hardware survived removal. There’s no instructions- your burners will likely need adjustment to burn evenly. There are set screw and an adjustable collar near the venturis (sic?). Some brackets required minor bending to fit properly. Quality appears good. Hoping this update prolongs the grills life a couple years.

This arrived in a damaged box because it wasn't packed properly. No instructions for assembly. Compared to the original BBQ parts these are not as well made. The ignition wires are not the same and are ridiculously too long. Some of the nuts, washers and screws could not be assembled properly on the brackets to hold burners as they were not fitting well, so we had to improvise Then after a not so easy assembly we tried to put on the burner plates and they are too long and don't fit in the brackets. They are kind of floating on the walls of the bbq.You can see in pictures how much longer they are than the originals. I'm going to have to ask a neighbor to cut them to fit. Very annoying as once you are in the process of assembling all this you are not going to take it apart and return it. Turned out to be way more work than necessary and the parts are not as high quality. I can not recommend.

Burners are getting little gas flow. So low the ignitor cannot ignite flame. Must us lighter. There was diffiuclty installing, mainly because each of the old pieces had to be taken out with a grinder. After that it was OK. Now the flame is soooo small on the burners. Center one OK, the ones to left and right are barely able to light, and only with lighter. Not enough gas flow for ignitor to light.

I just needed replacement flame shields which were the price of this whole kit for 1. The value of this is very worth it! We ended up replacing several parts since they came in the kit on a Char Griller 5040. This made my 7 year old grill new again!
