The heater works. I have it set on high , and my waterbed is warm. I would have liked the bed to be a little warmer, but it does work. I only had the heater working for 2 days , so i don't know how long the heater will last , but i hope i get a few years out of it.

At first I thought it wasn't working well, but after a few days (I did start out with pretty cold water), it has been fine. I even turned down the heat, which I had never done with my old heater that was being replced.

Worked as expected. Completely heated mattress in less than 48 hours.

I installed both of these in my California king waterbed and hopefully they will both continue to work for a long time to come.It is too bad that the people making the Halcyon unit that came with this bed in 1996 originally did not continue making them. It lasted 24 years!

This heater is smaller than the other heaters I have had, so I wondered if it could handle a BIG bed. It does!!! It isdoing a wonderful job. Thanks!!!

Heats up to a lukewarm feel... I finally re-did my water bed 2 weeks ago. I have it running wide-open....but still only feels like 65-70 degrees max, if you know what I mean? This time of year, Spring.. is comfortable, but during the Fall-Winter months, I will be more concerned. I am stuck with it for now... as you can't take a waterbed apart like a regular bed. Disappointed... & would not buy same one again.
