Great quality and very nearly identical to the original
I could be bit-picky and complain that there were a couple of visual flaws on my cases, slight abrasions and one spot of black plastic seemingly fused to the front cover, and that the disc tray doesn’t have the “compact disc” logo and that the textured edges are more transparent than the originals making them stick out when viewed from above, but I feel that would be too petty and missing the point. These cases are great quality and so close to the originals that it’s silly to criticize their little imperfections. Everything fits together nicely and securely (I read that was a problem with the original run, but definitely not with these). My OCD has me using the original trays with these because the trays on the originals are almost never broken and I want that stupid “compact disc” logo. Have used them with both Sega CD and Saturn cases and everything lines up nicely. The one situation where I used the whole new case was with a PS1 longbox title where I had long since lost the whole original case, and it makes the game look brand new. Overall superb. Priced very reasonably as well. Would have liked the option to only order 5 because most of my cases are in fine shape so I don’t need 10 replacements, but I’m confident I’ll find a use for them over time.Tangent: At one point Limited Run Games had announced that they were also making a large batch of replacement cases just like these which were supposed to go on sale as of January 2019, however it looks like they won’t be selling them directly after all - instead they’ve been using them in certain collectors editions. My guess is that they don’t want to compete with these replacements out of respect for the guy who put so much work into having them made, but that is completely speculation and the truth is probably more complicated. My only interest in the LRG version over these was the fact that LRG said they were making the cases out of a more durable material. The original cases are polystyrene and I believe these cases being sold here are also, whereas the LRG cases are supposedly acrylic. The bottom line is that these cases should be at least as durable as the originals and there’s no point holding out for LRG as they’ve had their stockpile of cases for 7 months (according to messages I’ve personally exchanged with them) and have decided not to sell them for whatever reason.

Major improvement!
UPDATE 3/16/2019: This is the last update I'll post. I've ordered about 8 packs of these now and all except two packs have had exactly one case each with the issue mentioned in my 1/30/19 update. I'm going to try and fix them though by building up the nub with a drop of resin or something.UPDATE 1/30/2019: I've ordered another 20 total (2 separate orders) and have come across two that the bottom edge of the door won't stay locked in. This is due to the nub that holds it in place being too small to catch the hole it must lock into. It only becomes a problem when I have a foam tray insert pushing against the manual as it will prevent the door from sitting flush. Not really an issue when it's filed on a shelf, but not perfect either.INITIAL REVIEW:After ordering ~50 1st run cases, which my last 10 I returned due to their horrible condition, I gathered some faith and ordered 20 of these so called improved 2nd run cases. I inspected all of them and here are my thoughts. Not one arrived cracked or broken. The plastic on these are clear and blemish free. The door shuts tight on all, in fact I usually need two hands to open them, and the trays snap in. Everything has a tighter quality. I think the tolerances were reworked (hinges don't wiggle, etc.). They were also well packaged (see pics). This is what they originally should have been and I really hope it stays at this level. My one or so negative. Unlike the first run, the trays no longer have the compact disc logos stamped in them. I believe the cost is also higher than the original price of the first run. It's up to you if it's worth it for an uncompromising product.Kudos to the producer for backing up the repeated claim that the 2nd run would fix the 1st's issues.

Simply Astounding
It's like my old Sega CD and Saturn games went back in time and are new again. These are a collector's dream come true. So far, I've transferred 20 games into these replacement cases and the results are near perfection. The clear plastic from the originals was too weak to survive at their size. So, buying used games almost always results in cracked cases. We finally have a decent solution, as used cases in good condition were a dwindling supply. And, if you have the dark grey middle piece from original case, you can use that with these cases for a slightly more authentic look. The pieces fit together and are nearly indistinguishable from the originals. There are some cons to this, however. First, I nearly gave these replacement cases four stars instead of five. But then I realized the issue was not the fault of the cases. Some back covers do not fit. The paper is cut a few millimeters too long, compared to others. They go in way too tight and end up bending and creating waves in the paper. Upon comparing several games, I noticed it was a printing issue. The back covers are not created equal, and most fit perfectly while some are too long and flawed. The same issue exists in the original cases as well. Second, the outer part of the dark grey plastic has a manufacturing issue. There are slightly noticeable waves opposing the ridges, every couple of inches. Fortunately, the grey plastic is the part of the original cases that is mostly likely to survive in good condition throughout the years. Using the original grey piece in the new replacement cases fixes this problem, and also gets you the "CD" logo on the inside. These cases create a strange satisfaction in many ways. I hope they never stop manufacturing them.
