Not worth potential damage to your lens
Disappointed: This cover seems too small for my lens and I have the exact lens as advertised. I'm afraid to put it on as it looks like it would scratch my lens when I squeeze to take off the cover and it pops right off if you tug at the string lightly.

I lost my cap for my Sony a6000, but I like this one better because it has a strap. I tied the strap to the camera, so I really won't lose it now!
