Tinymax Professional Rechargeable Pet Dogs and Cats Grooming Trimming Clippers Kit with Comb Guides (Red)

These clippers worked better than I expected. I wanted a smaller quieter clipper to work on the faces of my schnauzer and standard poodle. Both dogs were much calmer letting me trim their faces with the TinyMax than they are with my A5 with a #10 blade. The TinyMax clipped smoothly and very nicely. It is much quieter than the corded clippers. I didn't use combs on the dogs, but wound up doing the schnauzer's short areas and the poodle's face, ears, feet and tail all without trying any of the combs. This was done in much better time than it usually takes. I changed batteries between dogs, but might not have needed to. I was so pleased with the clippers that I used them on an 85 year old man with very thin hair the next evening using the combs and they worked more easily on him than the A5 usually does with its appropriate blades. It was very efficient in trimming his eyebrows and the springy little ear hairs that annoy him so much that I usually just trim with scissors. I think these would do well on beards and moustache. The combs fit on nicely after I figured out to push them all the way onto the blade, I didn't try the combs on any matted dog fur and I haven't used the scissors, comb or nail trimmers and I can't attest to their durability, but these clippers have already paid for themselves in 2 days usage.

My little powderpuff Chinese Crested isn’t happy when I tidy him up between groomings, but he can tolerate this set of clippers a whole lot better than any of the other trimmers I’ve tried. One of the ones I have is LOUD and vibrates, but it only takes a single pass to trim his fur The other doesn’t make as much noise, but it’s also not as strong and it takes me a lot longer to clean him up. These TinyMax ceramic trimmers are much quieter than the other two, there’s very little vibration, but it has almost the same amount of cutting power as the first one. My dog can even hold still longer when I trim between his paw pads.I have two minor complaints: my set arrived without a 10mm blade guard, but had two 12mm guards instead. Since my dog a powderpuff Crested, I always say, “give him a #10 groom” so I’m bummed that’s the one size I didn’t get! Also, the nail trimmers and file seem a bit out of place considering the quality of the other items in the set. Everything else seems more high end; the nail trimmers and file are the most basic set you can find at the Dollar Store. And, *IF* it matters to anyone, I ordered the red handled ceramic clippers. The nail clippers and nail file that come with this set have pink handles.A video’s worth a thousand words, so I included one with a comparison of the trimmer sounds for your viewing pleasure (in the video, the second trimmer has the nose hair head on it so it will fit back in it's little case. Obviously, I changed to the beard trimmer head when I groomed my little dog. Would definitely pay full price for this if I ever need another one!

I was absolutely impressed by this kit. I have a long haired dog and this trimmer had no issues getting through his fur without leaving lines or pulling his fur. It was very quiet so it didn't scare my dog and the best part in my opinion is that it comes with a second battery. Worth every penny
