The Undertaker: Season 3

I stumbled across MHz cable channel about a year ago and have discovered at least a dozen European shows I now watch at every opportunity. The Undertaker is a Swiss German detective show, where the detective is an undertaker. I like the characters and the setting and the language. For me, it's more about getting glimpse into other cultures rather than the mystery itself. Other shows to look for are "Crime Scene Cleaner" (German), "Bulletproof Heart" (Italian, and I sure wish there was a DVD version), "Murder In" (French mystery), "Montalbano" (Italian), "Bastards of Pizzofalcone" (Italian), and the Brunetti series set in Venice but filmed in German.

Find the original SRF DVDs. These DVDs have a burned English Subtitles which cannot be turned off.The SRF offer several different subtitles, if you are interested in learning another language.These do not list their episode title/name. they are given generic "episode X" title/name.This in completely unsatisfactory. There is absolutely no reason not to translate the Episode title/nameto the DVD menu.SRF = Schweizer Radio und Fernsehen

Great story and excellent acting. So different and fresh from the usual.

Not as good as the 2 previous seasons. Really slow this time. I will not buy the following seasons.

What a great series. It makes fun watching it. It has a story, wit, and great actors in the right roles. Let's bring on season 4.
