Q: How big around are the legs?

Not sure but it’s sturdy. I weight 480 and have had no problems. Leaning back can be tough though.

Q: Beware buying this. Drink holder tray isn't sturdy, and if you don't like the chairs, you will have to pay to return them.

I don’t care about the drink holder; yes drink holder is wobbly but don’t need it, I use a side table anyway. Love the chair so no need to return. We bought 2, which fit our needs perfectly.

Q: How deep is the seat?

Not sure the exact depth but I’m 5’9” and if I sit all the way back my feet barely touch the ground

Q: Is the fabric breathable, or cool?

I think it is more cool than breathable
