Product DescriptionA smart inline duct fan designed to quietly ventilate hydroponic grow rooms, boost heating/cooling to rooms, circulate fresh air, exhaust projects, and cool AV closets. Featuring an inline mixed-flow design, the duct fan can maintain airflow even in high static pressure applications. Contains an EC-motor with PWM-control for quiet and energy-efficient performance. The motor box containing the fan’s impeller and blades can be detached from the mounted frame for easy cleaning and maintenance. Includes a smart controller with dynamic climate and time-based programming, and can connect to one additional fan. Complete kit includes one duct fan unit, one thermal controller, one corded thermal probe, two duct clamps, installation manual, and all necessary mounting hardware. This product is a part of the UIS™ platform of grow devices and smart controllers, designed to integrate with each other to achieve your ideal environment.Smart ControllerFeatures smart programming that not only has basic temperature and humidity triggers, but also allows you to set dynamic fan speeds that would respond based on their changes. Go even further by setting a minimum speed that the fan will run at constantly and would only increase when triggered. **Q: hello,i gonna use it in my grow room.
do i really need the carbon filter while using this fan?
if yes,can i use other brands carbon filter with it?**
A: This machine just blows air in or out.  The carbon filter get rid of smell. Two different things.  Yes, you can use a different filter mix and match equipment.

**Q: Is there no option to buy 2 fans and 1 controller?**
A: No there is no option for buying 2 fans and 1 controller. If you do buy 2 fans I would get 2 s models and buy the controller separately. Saves a little bit of money and get the same results!

**Q: I have read the reviews discussing the sizing issues with the inlet/outlet sizes being more 12.25 instead of 12.  Has this issue been corrected?**
A: If your trying to put that 12 inch flexible ducting you basically cant and just have to get aluminum tape. Its not that big of an issue though. With the tape it stays put.

**Q: Can this fan be used to exhaust kitchen hoods (e.g. inline connected to a hood liner)?**
A: I would not use such an expensive fan for a kitchen exhaust hood. The condensation and grease steam alone would gum it up and ruin it. They sell hood exhaust fans
