Rosewood by Banana Republic for Women 3.4 oz Eau de Parfum Spray

Leaving this review for those of you who are hesitant blind buyers! I think is a safe one! However, if your nose typically prefers gourmands, this is probably not for you. The fragrance opens EXTREMELY fruity, which is probably the clementine, and then I got the essence of almost a white zinfandel. It smelled like the sniff of a good rose wine, which I loved personally. It smells very feminine and romantic, but also sophisticated and clean. It's fresh, without being green. It stayed on my skin a long time, but not on my clothes which was interesting because it's usually backwards. The fade was soft and powdery, with the white flowers as a constant throughout. It does have a very slightly soapy quality as well. The cons are that the projection is quite weak (my partner liked the smell, but had to get right up on me to smell it), with moderate sillage. I had to respray twice, but truly enjoy the scent. It's a delicate, lovely fragrance, and at this price point, totally worth the buy. Definitely a safe work perfume, but would also work well for a date night if you rather smell like flowers than dessert!

This is such a nice, soft, light, floral and pretty scent. It lasts fairly long, for at least several hours. I used to buy this at the Banana Republic store at the mall until they moved out. Wasn't sure where to get it until I found it on Amazon. So glad it's still being made.

obviously not from banana replublic as they stopped making it years ago, but it's ok and i will keep it. Why is banana republic allowing whoever this is, to use their name on perfume. sounds like fraud to me.

Ich hatte diesen Duft vor Jahren schon. War immer mein Favorit. Nur sehr schwer zu kaufen und eine Zeit lang gar nicht. Die Lieferung jetzt, kam über 3 Wochen früher als angekündigt. Sehr schön sicher verpackt. Auch wenn ich das schöne Holzkästchen von früher vermisse. Aber der Duft ist ja wichtig. Und der ist sehr sehr schön. Edel ohne aufdringlich zu sein und trotzdem den ganzen Tag da. Das Genörgel von Einigen hier, versteh ich nicht. Jeder Mensch ist anders und nicht jedes Parfüm paßt zu Jedem. Dann einfach weiter suchen. Ich jedenfalls, liebe " Rosewood " und werde ihm treu bleiben und weiter bestellen, denn selbst bei bei kurzem Wechsel mit anderen Parfüms, wird dieser Geruch bleiben und ich hoffe, der Hersteller bleibt dabei und bringt keine Editionen dazu, denn die sind meist nicht halb so gut. Also von mir gibt es alle Daumen hoch. Super. 👍
