I’ve had a good experience with this one. I’ve mounted the box on top of a cabinet and I aim the remote at the ceiling. The dial adjusts the overall power and the remote has a 15 sec. exit feature. I have three of these and they’ve been working well for over 6 yrs. Based on the specs, it should work just fine.

I don't know. The packaging says 12v acdc. I use them with a 12vac system. The apparently have a integral rectefier in the circuitry, as the LED's are dc. Try a adjustable power supply. 7 volts? It sounds like you are connecting them to 2 18650's? Watch your current.

Great Update for Old Incandescent Bulbs

Updated a KitchenAid microwave/vent hood with these bulbs and the the clean, bright light is great! Advise that you go up one power level - The 3 watt LED bulbs are perfect replacement for the former 20 Incandescent bulbs. They also dim (there is a nightlight switch) without any issue. Good Stuff!

Short useful life.

Poor longevity: Two of the five failed in the first three months of use. The first one just stopped working. The second flickers like crazy. I tried rotating these lights to other locations (my range hood powers four lights) , but the bad lights remain bad wherever they are plugged in. I am using these on a high-end range hood which supports two brightness levels for halogen lights; there is no such dimming with these bulbs.

Good but very short lived outdoors

Bright enough, honest soft white color, compact, no flicker, seemingly fully encapsulated, but I’ve gone thru the entire five pack in less than a year replacing failed bulbs. I’m using them in an outdoor fixture that’s shielded from rain but otherwise exposed to ambient conditions. Thought the encapsulated design would help but no.

Awesome, as bright as the halogen bulb, no heat, lasts forever (practically) and still has a warm color to it, not a blue color......Perfect

Only some of the bulbs dimmed well and most didn't last very long

I bought these bulbs a year ago and most of them are dead already. And this is in lights that are not used much. Several didn't dim well when I bought them and over the past year almost all of the rest of the bulbs have failed.

Only 3 of 5 worked

These bulbs fit the cabinet puck light fixture perfectly and the color matches the incandescent bulbs which is nice. They dont get dangerously hot like the old ones either. I 'm only giving three stars though because only 3 out of 5 worked out of the box. One was broken and one flashed on and off. I'm going to give them another chance because I need them all to match for dimming purposes. Cant match LEDs and incandescents on the same dimmer.
