First Girl to Die: A Completely Gripping Crime Thriller (Detective Morgan Brookes, Book 4)

Well following this mystery is quite entertaining. Morgan seems to always attract trouble. You will enjoy this read. Have a great time.

This was another outstanding mystery with a great plot. The complaint that I still have is that one main character needs to mature! Police personnel need to grow up and deal with unpleasantness in their job or they will never really be fully competent in their job.

It also left me hoping and praying for Ben and Morgan to realize they are in love with each other. I’m taking that hope with me to book 5. This book kept me on the edge of my seat and I’m looking for more of that in the next book forward. As we know, Morgan is always going to find trouble in her pursuit of justice and Ben will be on her heels making sure she escapes the trouble in the end even if it is a close call like the one in this book. I’m looking forward to the next book for exactly that reason!

A great thrilling book. Once you start you can't put it down. Moran still is looking over her shoulder for her escaped father. I love the way all the twists and turns have the characters intertwined. Looking forward to the next book, to see if Ben will confess his love for Morgan.

I keep promising myself I’ll stop reading and go to sleep but I just have to find out how Morgan will get out of this one! The on again off again with Ben adds interest but honestly the twists and turns with the mysterious deaths is captivating. I can’t wait to see where it goes next. The narrative and dialog are excellent.

Then one by one her friend group seemingly is targeted. Her Aunt Ettie is questioned and arrested for the poisoning. Morgan tries to clear her Aunt and save her remaining friends. Morgan and Ben fight their feelings for one another even though the entire force thinks they are an item. I love the friendship between Morgan and Ben and Amy's "tell it like it is" attitude.First To Die is the 4th in the Detective Morgan Brookes series.If you love detective series like I do check this one out.

I am surprised everytime I open one of these books, they grab you from the very first page and keep you hooked and wondering the whole time! I haven’t read a series this good in a long time. Onto the next one!

The mystery aspect of this series is great. Morgan being a selfish, childish twit gets old. She gets mad at Ben in EVERY book, and acts like a high-schooler. He is her BOSS, regardless of whatever attraction might be there. I can't believe Morgan hasn't been fired.

Love all the characters, especially Ben and Morgan. The story kept me in suspense. I couldn't stop reading to the end! Can't wait to read next in series 🙌

Ehemalige Mitschülerinnen von DC Morgan Brookes haben ein tödliches Gift zu sich genommen. Wie konnte das Gift in ihren Kräutertee gelangen? Brookes verdächtigt ihren leiblichen Vater, einen Vergewaltiger und Mörder. (Eine höchst unglaubwürdige Familiensituation,) Die Lösung hat aber mit ihm nichts zu tun und ist eher hausbacken als aufregend. Schwache Geschichte.

On to the next one. Loved it. And I loved the reference to one of my favourite other Detective. Great read.

I like this series as it allows really fast and easily. It is well written and the characters although all flawed in their own way are all great and really likeable and relatable. There were many twists and turns to keep me hooked.

If you already enjoy the Morgan Brookes series, this one will not disappoint.
