Q: I own this and love it, but is there a carrying case that will fit this snugly all together?

The pull n go is definitely the way to go. It's also 25 dollars cheaper at gamestop than on here. Good luck.

Yes, this is for the Vita PCH-2000 which is the new slim model. The original Vita is the PCH-1000.

Q: Does it work with the older model?

No. There is a power grip that is specifically for the older model though. It's well worth it to find one. The battery life is phenomenal! Search for Nyko Power Grip Vita 1000 and you'll find it.

Q: If the battery on the Power Grip is fully charged will it charge my Vita when plugged in?

I'm not exactly sure how it supplies power to the vita but I can say when it's in the grip and both are charged up (they charge together when plugged in) it just lasts a whole lot longer. The Vita doesn't show the charging icon however so my thought is it uses up the charge on the grip's battery first and then starts using the internal battery.
