Smaller size?
Normally this brand is a good one. My glaze seems to be older so that the glaze is hazy. Smaller container might be better for higher turn around on the shelves.

Perfect
I'm a new potter experimenting with wild clay from the creek bank and a microwave kiln. I make small items such as tealight holders, hanging ornaments, flower frogs etc. This glaze - two coats- comes out perfect when fired on :high: for 35 minutes in my 900W microwave. Looking forward to trying more Penguin glazes!

Disappointed
Came out patchy with milky and frosty spots. Not matte clear at all.

Clear glaze
Clear glaze is great, I use it a lot in my pottery. Live it!

This glaze is prone to crazing
I used this clear glaze on several mugs. Tried in in Laguna b mix, a mid fire porcelain, and a white stoneware. I glazed some all in clear - inside and outside and I glazed some in Amaco celadon on the inside and penquin clear in the outside. Most of the clear glaze crazed and none of the Amaco crazed. I’ve never had crazing, ever. I mixed the clear per their directions for a dipping glaze and fired at my usual slow fire cone 6 program. This glaze is not stable and not reliable. It has a chemical formulation problem and I am going to get rid of it. I would not recommend using this glaze, unless you want your pottery to craze on purpose and that’s the look you are going for.
