Buy this now - - it will save you from the sun
We did not like the sun or light shining down through the panoramic glass roof that I never wanted, but is only optional on the lowest end configuration of the Mach E. The solution - - this headliner. Mine came with 16 clips and most importantly the liner (silver on one side and black on the other) in addition to the translucent screen that holds it up. The liner blocks out all light and sun and it seems as though with the silver side of the lining towards the glass that much of the heat is reflected away. Fits very well and I'm not seeing any light come through the edges. Many of the others on the market are mostly translucent, but if you get this one with the liner you actually block the light. Only a few days installed, but it seems to be staying in place and I don't see any sign that it won't last for a long time. I only used 12 of the 16 clips as I found it expanded into the edges better with 12 clips than 16 as the extra clips were not allowing the flexible frame to fully expand. And, I can't comment on how easy it is to fold, but I would guess it would be frustrating to fold it back up. I don't plan to remove it and will use year round. Install took about 20 minutes by myself - - with a helper it probably would have been 10 minutes. A happy customer and solved what I see as the biggest weakness of my Mach E. I would prefer the panoramic roof be an option, but its not.

Perfect fit!!!
Amazing and simple to put in. When they state “wedge the clips” there is really no wedging, meaning you don’t have to worry about tearing your roof liner. The clips simply lay in the gap and the shade itself holds the clips in place. It definitely makes the car less hot when parked for long durations in the sun. I highly recommend for any Mach-E owners.

Difficult and timely installation.
This shade is very difficult for one person to install and the clips come loose and get lost easily. It’s too bad Ford didn’t think to have a built in shade as the vehicle gets too hot in the California summer sun, and this product is way too cumbersome to use intermittently as it is really made to be a permanent installation.

Almost Perfect
I ordered this sunshade on July 12, 2023 and received it eight days later. So much for Amazon Prime 2 day shipping. However, I happened to order it during the Prime Days sales event so I got what I thought was a decent price. My Mach E is Star White with the light grey (actually white) interior so I ordered - and received - the white version of this sunshade. It arrives folded into its black storage bag. The storage bag is either nylon or polyester, not sure which but it does the trick. When I took it out, I was absolutely certain I was never going to be able to fold it back into the shape required to get it into its bag. More on this later. It does not arrive with instructions, as others have pointed out. However, it's a sunshade and it's huge so there is one - and only one - place where it could possibly be installed. The only variable is determining the right orientation between the front and rear of the roof panel so that the shade fits properly. The one thing that could use more explanation is how to install the sun blocking reflective cover. It is silvered on one side and white on the other. Standing outside the car with the shade unfolded, I hooked the cover onto it. Remember that this, too, has to be oriented properly so that it fits the shade correctly and, of course, the car itself. You'll be able to see very quickly whether the cover is on the shade properly. What is not immediately clear is whether the cover should sit between the shade and the glass roof or in the interior of the car, basically hanging from the shade in the car interior. I finally decided it should be installed with the silver side facing the sky and between the glass roof and the shade. You must use the cover on the shade to block light completely because the shade has tiny perforations that let light through. If you install the shade without the cover, it will filter the light coming through. You'll get a lot less sunlight but some will still come through. Note that the type of sunrays that cause sunburn cannot go through glass, so that's not a concern. What is a concern is heat. I installed this shade the day I received it and took it off about a week ago to see the difference. My car seemed hotter without it. So, today, August 16, 2023, I went out to my parked car with an infrared thermometer. The interior was hot and when I measured the temperature on the portion of the center armrest that was shaded by the solid portion of the roof, it was something like 109 degrees. The portion of the armrest that was exposed to sunlight coming through the roof was about 116 degrees or so. Definitely hotter so, of course, I reinstalled the shade with the cover as described previously. The shade comes with something like 16 plastic tabs that you hook onto the metal rim of the shade. The rim consists of flat metal wire around the circumference. The fact that it's flat allows the tabs to properly hook onto it. So you put the cover on the shade, place the shade onto the roof, hook up the plastic tabs, and then insert them between the glass roof and the liner. Boom! Done!In my case, I use ten of the plastic tabs. Three each in the front and rear and two on either side. That's where my only complaint comes in and why I only gave this four stars. Ideally the plastic portion of the tabs that gets inserted between the roof and liner should either be longer OR have a ridge on its end so that you have to effectively "snap" it in between the roof and liner. That's because the sides have a tendency to come out from between the roof and liner because the wire frame doesn't extend fully to the sides. Now that could be simple physics where the weight causes a bit of sagging, I don't really know. But I think longer or, preferably, ridged tabs would do a much better job of keeping the shade in place. It won't fall, so that's not an issue and, in fact, the tabs working their was out a bit is absolutely no big deal. But it's worth noting.I should also say that driving down the freeway with all four windows half open is not an issue whatsoever. The shade stays in place. As for folding it again, just hold the sides instead of the ends and give it a twist to get it folded down. No problem. All in all, this shade does what I want it to: it keeps the sun from cooking me alive and it looks good installed.

Made well and easy to install.
Before I installed, I watched a video on YouTube. 0 struggle for me. Now golfing this up, if you have a problem with folding wire rimmed shades, this might be a issue. I really only use this for the hot months of July and August. Was not disappointed in quality.

Two pieces
I thought this was a single sunshade with a reflective backer, like windshield shades. However, this is a two-part sunshade. The two parts don’t fit well together and the Velcro doesn’t hold. The single cloth part is decent to reduce glare, but figment around the edges looks crappy. I can’t install the reflective part because of the irregularity and gaps.I think I’ll just return this and find a single sunshade with a reflective backer

Fits well keeps the heat out
Per the title, works well. Slightly squeaky over larger bumps in the road otherwise writer and hard to tell it wasn’t fitted at Ford. Worth the money!

Perfectly matches interior color
Haven't had the sunshade for long, but so far have been very pleased. It fits perfectly, was easy to install, and stays up. In addition, it perfectly matches the Space Gray interior and looks like it might have come with the car.
