WOW - Much more than I expected! ! !
This review is for the Pyle PDWR42WBT 3.5" Bluetooth Speakers, 3-way indoor/outdoor Speaker System, 200 Watt. That's peak watts. RMS is 100 watts. So, 50 watts per speaker. The amp is included, so this is really all you need. For $50 it beats trying to cobble together a bunch of boxes from multiple vendors.I purchased this back in August for my porch which l'm redoing. It's now September. I was looking at reviews last night and a few were not so good. Figured I better open them up an give them a once over. First off the glue on the box had dried out but the contents were in great shape. For $50 I wasn't expecting much. Something along the lines of light weight empty boxes that make noise. These speakers are hefty, and have a nice look to them. Being almost 60 I figure my hearing isn't so good. My 19 year old son was with me. His first comment was, "Nice bass!". And the bass was really good from such a small speaker, I was amazed! It's a 3-way with mid-range and tweeter. I could hear the highs but I figure I'm missing most of what's really there. In the box:. Two speakers, 12vdc power supply, 2 mounting brackets, mounting hardware, and speaker wire. The speaker wire is as expected very light gauge. I have 12 AWG which I will be substituting in when I install.Only concern I can see so far the port for the power supply is a tad loose. I'll apply putty at installation to better hold the plug in place and assure no moisture gets into the port. The AUX port was nice and snug. I'm giving 5 stars even with this one issue because the fix is easy, cheap, and I would do it anyway. 5 stars are for the build quality and the sound produced.I paid full price for these on Amazon. I chose the white speakers because they were a few dollars less. I will update this review in the future if I have anything to add.11-12-18 UpdateSpeakers are still kicking butt and taking names. If I wanted to I could share my music with neighbors two houses away.If you're thinking about purchasing these Pyle PDWR42WBT 3.5" Bluetooth Speakers, get off the fence and do it. You won't be disappointed.

Fool me once…
I read a good many of the reviews about these speakers, so I understood they were a bit trouble prone. But the price was right and they seemed to be exactly what I needed, so I took a chance. When I first hooked them up, they paired to my phone immediately and I sat on my pool deck for about an hour and enjoyed them. The sound was as good as I could expect for a speaker this size. I cranked them up and they were loud enough to annoy the neighbors if I chose to, more than loud enough for our typical deck lounging. Two days later, they did not make the tone that indicates they were ready to pair and would not pair to my phone or laptop. I turned them off and back on several times and tried unplugging the passive speaker (per the reviews) and that did not work either. I sent these back and new ones were sent to replace them, as I figured the odds were in my favor that this would likely not happen a second time. (As you may notice, some reviewers had better luck with replacement sets.)Out of the box, the second set paired right up and sounded great. The next day, they would not pair immediately, but finally did. They ran just fine for about 30 minutes and then suddenly dropped out and would not re-pair. I decided to give them one more try as we were having guests over to swim the next day. They paired and again ran for about 30 minutes before giving up. They would not re-pair. So I’m done messing with these things, which is a shame because they were there right size and the right price for a pair of outdoor stereo speakers. I’m kind of surprised Pyle would put their name on these things. If I could give them zero stars, I definitely would.Also- I liked the supplied brackets that allow the speakers to swivel and be re-directed where the sound is needed. The problem with that is that the power plug in to the active speaker is too long and does not allow for it to swivel very far.

Excellent Product - Great Sound, Reliable, Easy to Install
Have been using about a year and a half on my deck attached to the gazebo. Outdoors, but not in direct weather. They were extremely easy to install, however, I agree with the reviews that longer power and audio cables would be nice. Very easy to connect to using bluetooth from my phone. Looking to buy a second set and see of I can connect all 4 speakers together. Highly recommend. Have had zero issues.
