Slightly different than the original carb, but still works fine for my chainsaw.
I bought this for my Poulan 2375. The main difference (but not a huge deal) is that the original carb has both the supply and return lines for fuel on the side opposite the throttle link. Whereas on this replacement carb, the return port is on the same side as the throttle link, and they kind of crowd each other. Be that as it may, I was able to make things fit. After swapping out the carburetor and the spark plug, my old saw (which has sat unused for 5 years) was brought back to life. Now I can get back to work trimming my flowerbed with reckless abandon.

gasket with kit didn't fit my saw
carb seems to be working great, but I had to reuse the old gasket between the carb and the motor. The kit came with two gaskets, but neither matched the original. I honestly don't know if either of the supplied gaskets would have worked... I don't think so, but don't know for sure. Also, the fitting/pipe that goes to the primer bulb has a bend in it on the new carb. The old carb didn't have that, but that was not a problem. There was a rubber dust cover that was over what I think is the throttle adjust screw and the low and high lean/rich adjusting screws. That dust cover didn't seem to fit the new carb, but it's not effecting the operation of the saw. My chainsaw is a 1998 model Craftsmen 2.6cid/42cc, 18in model 358. 3501180 serial number 98252D301628. family WPWES. 0424CS EM. The markings on the old carb were Walbro 823 WT391

Worked perfect and was easy to install on my Craftsman WT-625
To start with I was having a lot of trouble with the chainsaw kept adjusting the carb and cleaned it out and soaked it. I should have just started with this I didn't even have to adjust it it started and it's been running since I know now the few little dollars this carburetor costs is way worth it compared to the hours I spent messing around with the old one. Just make sure before you change the carb take a picture of how it's set up it's actually pretty easy to mix up the fuel lines seeing as how they're identical. It took a little time to get the backflow filter inside the gas tank you have to feed it through and pull it out the bot the gas cap put it on then feed it back if you try to feed it from the gas cap in it it's too hard. I can tell you if you're having trouble with any of the listed compatible chainsaws and have to spend more than an hour trying to get it to run trust me just order this now the air filter that's included seems to let more air passage than the original which is a good thing. Second thing that's good is it comes with more than one spark plug and it's always a good thing to have a backup. The only reason I gave it four stars and not five is simply for the fact there was no suggestions on how to do it there should be some kind of advice on how you should install it and take a picture or something I wound up having to go to 30 different images of the carburetor and looking finding that one that shows me where they went so make sure you take a picture

Replacement carburetor
Carburetor kit had all components advertised. Appeared to be good condition. However, did not fit my application as advertised. Poulan 1950 chainsaw. Primer fuel port opposite side of carb from OEM. Rests against throttle linkage interfering with movement making throttle inoperable. Would like to exchange but don’t know procedure.

Great replacement kit, read my review.
Excellent replacement carb kit for my Poulan Woodshark model 1950. Used all parts, chainsaw started right up, ran and idled great. Replacing the fuel line was challenging, the molded holes in the plastic frame of the saw was a very tight fit for the thicker fuel line. YouTube has a fishing line trick to help route the lines where need be. Air filter housing required a little modification to allow clearance of the choke linkage. Easy to do, some kits come with a replacement air filter holder already molded to allow clearance but I couldn’t find it so I modified mine. Bought this kit plus two replacement caps for bar oil and fuel. Well worth $25 total for all and a little time spent. New life for my 10 year old $109.00 Home Depot chainsaw! Very pleased.

Impossible to get adjusted
The one I received was impossible to adjust and run right. I'm very familiar with tuning two strokes but this carb just won't adjust out. I'm changing my review to 5 stars because of the response from the seller. They refunded my money even though they didn't have to.

Carburetor is wrong one. Add stated it fits a 2550 poulan. It does not.
Sent me wrong carburetor. It does not fit a poulan 2550 chain saw ass add says. The spark plug fits, but will not spark. Need a refund.

Saw is alive like new one now

This Carb is configured differently than the original. Not meant for a Poulan 2150. It requires significant modifications to make it fit. The airfilter box has to be trimmed down to allow the choke to function. One of gas ports is in the way of the throttle linkage so it has to be bent away. A lot more work than necessary. Find the right match!!
