Cleans track nicely.
Works really well. After I painted my track I needed something to clean the tops of the rails and this worked great.

Works like a charm and doesn't leave any fibers or greasy fluid on the tracks.
Keeps my old code 80 N scale tracks nice and clean, which in turn keeps the wheels on my locos and rolling stock clean. Easy to use and works like a charm. Leaves no fibers behind as microfiber rags can and you don't have that mess that liquid track cleaner leaves behind (and on the wheels). Basically a pliable eraser with a fine abrasive. Definitely recommended.

So far a good cleaner.
I use this for heavily pitted track issues. It does a great job. I will be purchasing more of these but a little trick for lesser pitted tracks is using the Scotch Brite Heavy duty scrub sponge with some track cleaner sprayed on it. Now for the biggest of jobs, rusty or very heavily pitted track I still use fine sand paper. I have some lay outs out doors so that is why I have the bigger of jobs from time to time.

Never using cloths ever again
For years whenever I had to clean up HO scale track to get rid of the black streaks, the item I would use for cleaning would be a clean cloth, works just fine, but this little thing works even better. It especially works great if you buy used track that may have some rust marks, and very dirty dull looking spots, scrape this over those areas, and it will look brand new. Definitely stick to these going forward, no more rags or cloths.

Other uses.
When I was a kid it worked to clean the HO scale tracks. Now it works to clean up guitar frets.

Walthers Bright Boy
I am so glad I found this product. I have been looking for something strong enough to clean the gunk off of my tracks and the wheels of the Locomotives and gentle enough to not mess it up. This cut through the build up on my track like it was nothing. My locomotives now run smoothly over my tracks. This is a great product and now a staple for cleaning and restoring track.
