These things are sooooo cool. It's so nice to get rid of the danger remotes in the car. We live in a great neighborhood, however it's nice to know that the remote comes inside at night if the car(s) happen(s) to be in the driveway from time-to-time. I don't know what the range of these remotes is / are, however they seem to be close to as good as the old block-style clipped onto the sun visor. It's a slight challenge to learn how to program, however that's all about me, not the product. I highly recommend!!! UPDATE: I was so impressed with these little remotes that I bought another pair. Overnight, the original two remotes stopped working so I reprogrammed them and all is well. It was likely me, not the remote or overhead door controller that was at fault. I've found that it's super simple to program these little guys now that I have more experience with them. I climbed up on a ladder to get up close and personal with the overhead door controller, then pressed the A and B buttons on the remote for about 5 seconds until the LED turned solid on the remote. I then pressed the programming button on the overhead door controller until it went into programming mode (mine is a purple button, by the way -- the instructions say that these remotes work with all colors of buttons / overhead door controllers and I have no reason to think that this isn't the case -- quality stuff). After two button pushes of the A button on the remote (or the button of your choice on the remote), it synched and all is well. This technique worked on all four remotes. Very nice stuff. I highly recommend this product. Again, I don't know what the range is for these little remotes, however it's good enough for me and my family.

Battery did not last one month on one of the remotes. Disappointed

All the reviewers who said this is easy to program must be smarter than I am. I followed the instructions on the tiny paper that came with it, which were not getting me where I wanted. I finally was able to program 4 garage doors somehow. When I tried the second remote, I ended up programming 2 doors to one button, with no way to “un-program” a single button. Clue: Do NOT press 2 buttons at the same time (to “enter the programming mode) if one is already programmed. It’s good these were inexpensive, because one is now trash. Also, these are tiny buttons, so if you have fat fingers, I do not recommend. The positive - only one I can find with 4 buttons for 4 doors.

I work in my yard all the time and I keep this garage opener in my pocket all day every day. It's light weight, compact and protected from accidentally pressing the button. The only negative I've had is that the buttons get to where they don't make contact easily after alot of Use. I have 2 garage doors and I use the A button numerous times a day, so it wants to quit working eventually. I've replaced the opener twice, but they are inexpensive to buy and worth the expense to me.
