My old gasket was worn out causing my pool to lose water while the pool filter was running. **The flat side part of the gasket goes face down. This gasket fit perfectly and now it doesn't leak! *** A heads up, removing the old gasket was insane! Lol . Took me about 3 hours to do the job that I thought would take 10 mins. For my multi port valve the spider gasket has to be glued in . Removing the old one was a pain. Used a flat head screw driver to remove the old gasket and adhesive. All and all the gasket was a perfect fit and works great. Good luck 👍

I discovered this gasket here and was a bit concerned that for the price it would be cheap and either not fit properly or be poor quality and not last. That said, I drove to my local pool supply store to purchase the OEM part. They wanted $35 bucks for it. I told them to keep it. There was no-way I was going to spend that much for a rubber gasket. I then left the store and immediately after getting into my car (still on the pool supplier parking lot) I ordered this one. After a few days it arrived. After looking it over, it was time to install. NO ISSUES. It fit perfectly and only time will tell on its life span. But for 1/4 the price of the pool supplier, I am glad I took the risk buying this one.

Product as described. Fit very well. I used a Loctite adhesive to hold the gasket in place. I let it cure for 12 hours before using. My previous gasket failed because my control valve was not lifting off the gasket when moving the handle. This time, I bought a new control valve handle and it works great. I also used waterproof silicone last time to hold the gasket in place but that didn’t work. The gasket was half gone when I opened the valve.

Was the correct part we needed in order to get filter working again I had ordered the smaller version which was what was needed so be sure you need the 2 inch for your filter.

Fit perfect no more leaks

Product is good, fit fine. Process is a pain, cleaning old gasket out takes time and effort. Once clean, new gasket fits fine and is easy to install. I've had it a month and so far it's fine.
