This molecular modeling kit is the best deal on Amazon and does not compromise on quality. While some may find the connectors hard to use, they grip hard so they can hold together double bonds and big molecules. I also appreciate that the informational sheet is removable, allowing me to use this kit during exams. The individual pieces are of consistent quality, and they are separated into smaller plastic bags. You could choose to dump them out into the kit, but I find them easier to keep organized in their little bags. The only con is that the lid of the kit does not stay on firmly, and may fall off if tousled if carrying a bag. This problem is easily and cheaply solved with a rubber band, ribbon or string.

As a biochemistry major, this kit has everything you'll need! I would recommend this for organic chemistry especially when learning Newman Projections. It offers a lot of educational value, is easy to use and assemble, and functions well for its purpose.

The lid does not snap closed so I have to use rubber bands to prevent it from spilling out in my backpack. Other than that, great product!

Exactly what my daughter needed for organic chemistry class.

Bough it for my chemistry class and it worked well I learned a lot from it but the only thing is the lid falls easily so when I put it in my bag the lid fell and it made a mess of things. So I have to carry it around. Other than that it was great.

Purchased this a couple of years ago for my organic chemistry classes. Used it for both of those classes and ended up using it for another class. Has everything you will ever need to make all the different kinds of structures. One of my professors allowed us to use it during exams, so that came in very handy. No complaints!

I bought this because it helps students immensely to be able to see what the shape of molecules looks like, especially with chiral molecules. The kit works well and contains enough parts to build all the molecules students are likely to encounter during their JEE preparation.
