If you know how to change a tub spout (very easy) then know this one works exactly the same as the others. The diverter valve went out on my daughter's shower. Instead of repairing that I spent just a little more and replaced the whole spout. Her's was a little grungy anyway and she appreciates the new shiny. Installed without hassle and works like a champ. Teenage daughter approved.

I've been dealing with a leaky tub faucet for the longest time unwilling to spend the money on the original brand to get a replacement. I found this one which is very reasonably priced. It came with everything you need such as the lubricant and the allen wrench tool. It only took me about 5 minutes to replace it. It works perfectly and does not leak at all.

I have an existing slip fit spout that has been leaking for some time, so I decided to finally replace it. Saw these, the price looked good. I bought tow- one for two different tubs that are currently leaking when the shower is on. I made sure the copper pipe was clean, and slipped on the new tub spout. It went on really easily- almost too easily. I immediately began to wonder if my pipe was too small. I pulled out my digital calipers, and verified that my copper pipe from the wall is 5/8"OD, 1/2"ID. Once I turned on the water, it began to leak horribly at the wall. Basically, the gasket inside the tub spout wasn't sealing at all. So I installed the second one I'd purchased, thinking that maybe it was a defective unit. The second one also leaked just as badly. These DO NOT FIT 5/8" pipe- it will be too large!!! Waste of my time, I've returned these.

It works great. Brushed nickel look is a pretty close match to what we have. Some reviews said it was hard to put on or didn’t fit. Well it fits 1/2” pipe like it states and it fits perfect. You have to twist and push a bit to get the pipe past the O ring. Then tighten set screw and your all set. The diverter is nice and tight that when shower head runs no water came out of spout. Never had so much power coming from the shower head. Hope it lasts as long as the original. Even if I only get 2-3 years out of it I will buy again.

Looks, fits and functions as described. Perfect replacement for my 1/2” threaded fitting and matches my brushed nickel faucet perfectly.

No threads on the inside so must be for a straight 1/2 copper pipe coming out wall my pipe is 2 1/2 in length coming out wall and works fine

Not as advertised. Was supposed to be made of brushed nickel. Doesn't fit on standard pipe.
