Adjustability is great, but what's up with the dinky thigh straps???
If you are looking for a slim, unobtrusive holster, this ain't it! It is fairly bulky, but that is mainly due to its universal fit and adjustability. I'm pretty sure you could get this to fit anything from a single shot .22 all the way up to Han Solos blaster! I got this for a Byrna LE, which it easily accommodates. Only issues I have are the pocket for the extra mag tends to cause the release on the Byrna to flip, emptying the mag into the pocket. This wouldn't be a problem for a regular firearm. And the biggest problem, the thigh straps... I'm 6'1", 205, and am in fairly good shape, but not bulky or huge body proportions. The thigh straps, even adjusting then to the biggest available, dang near cut of circulation in my right leg! I suppose this would be a non issue for super skinny people, but an average person is going to need to do some mods! Not a terrible problem, I have plenty of 2" nylon strap, so I will get them extended. Rest of the holster makes up for this minor issue. The thigh straps do have the buckle side using elastic, which will help once I extend the other side!

Adjustable, sure - Adaptable, FOR SURE
Concur with most Reviewers - materials, construction/sewing and fitting are superb. FYI - it accommodates my Glock 20 (full size) with rail-mounted DefendTec M1C tactical LED light securely. Having said that, I found the weight of my Glock and spare magazine hanging/rubbing on my outside knee joint extremely uncomfortable; but herein is the best attribute of this holster - its adaptability. I removed the upper leg restraint, some of the extraneous belt attachments and configured it to resemble a regular belt-attached holster (thus creating a normal right-hand draw or a left side "cross-draw" holster - I adapted the lower leg restraint to act as a "tie-down".), It works wonderfully. Because of these adaptations, I'd disagree with one Reviewer regarding the paucity of Instructions. Had there been Instructions, I might not have tried the foregoing reconfiguration. Two caveats: 1 - I agree with one Reviewer - the snap over the pistol is poorly placed/engineered, but thankfully HUABOLA CALYN thoughtfully provided a Velco'd strap as a substitute, and; 2 - the belt-attaching sleeve could have been wider to facilitate attachment to a wider than 1 1/2" belt. I'd very satisfyingly recommend this all-weather holster vs a more expensive, less adaptable leather iteration. Incidentally, HUABOLA CALYN and AMAZON Customer Service(s) were exemplary with their assistance/patience in my search for an effective holster. EDIT 27 JUL: Belay my Caveat #2 (above) - After looking at the belt loop again, I was able to increase the loop to effectively accommodate a 2 1/4" belt. Maybe you can fix stupid! However, I would recommend insuring the loop's integrity with some judicial use of friction tape to prevent the Velcro slipping.

deserves more stars... but takes a long time to make this right
Ok, there's a lot here. Quality - The canvas, velcro, stitching, and clips are great! down side is the cuts. The edges of every piece of fabric has threads flying free. Here's #1 for things you have to do to this thing. You have to take a match and singe all of the edges. Retention - Oh boy. There is more velcro on this thing than I know what to do with (literally, I don't know what to do with it all). On the plus side, it's highly customizable. But when you try to do quick movements or perhaps run for half a mile with it on, it all starts coming apart. So here's #2 of things you have to do... you have to manually stitch/tack most of this thing into place once you have it fitted the way you want. Extra mag carrier. - This part is fine for most people I think. But don't expect to put and extended cap mags in here. My 19 rnd mag stretches the limits of this pocket and I have to keep an eye on it. Thumb break - It's OK. It works fine, it's just a little small/short. So your thumb has to travel about an inch lower than other thumb breaks. Again, it's works, and it's fine once you get used to it. But it's something to consider. Lots of clips/velcro - I know I covered velcro already, but hear me out. This is my first drop-leg holster. So I was watching some videos and learning and I found out that when you wear a drop-leg holster, you want it to sit AS HIGH AS POSSIBLE unless you have a problem with your gun clearing your LBE. So this holster comes with a LONG drop courtesy of a velcro belt strap, a fork clip (LARGE), another velcro belt strap. This is about 8 inches of drop when all is said and done. so I removed the fork clip assembly and that took away about 6 inches of drop. Attachment to your belt is still velcro so it's not a big deal when you need to QD. This required me to remove the top leg strap, so I removed an entire leg strap and almost the entire drop assembly and now it fits nice. bottom line, I used it like this for a 5K run-n-gun and it worked flawlessly. You do have to spend several hours trying different things, burning up the loose ends and stitching things up. But after all that, it is really almost perfect.

Great value
Great value. Secure leg straps adjustable to whatever I'm wearing. Great for easy access while in back country hikes. Holster also adjusts well to whatever I'm carrying. Durable materials that should last a long time. Would like more camo pattern options, but for the price I can't complain.

Fits Glock 43, M&P Shield, 4" S&W Model 66; NOT FOR QUICK DRAW! Incredible deal for the price.
This just arrived today. So I haven't been able to "use" it, but I can say this: - perfect fit for Smith & Wesson M&P Shield - perfect fit for Glock 43 - even fits Smith & Wesson Model 66, 4" barrel; not perfect, but definitely good enough. Even now I am sitting in an office chair with the .357 strapped to my leg, and the fit sitting down is quite comfortable. The .357 is a heavy revolver, and even though the holster can easily be adjusted to fit it, a sturdier holster might be better for such a bulky weapon: the leg straps have to be almost uncomfortably snug to keep it from swinging around when walking. However, both 9mms felt light as a feather and stay put. We'll see how it does for wear and tear. But for now, you can't beat this for the money. I am going to buy two more. Also, it should be noted that is most definitely NOT a quick draw holster, by any stretch. I've only had it for a few hours, and I can get all three pistols out in less than three seconds. But in a real pinch, that's not good enough. It's meant to keep the weapon strapped to your leg, out of the way of other equipment around your waist and torso, and available if you need it, but not in a huge hurry. But, again, you can't beat the price!
