**Q: Are chassis and cabin, made of steel also, like the original? Thanks.**
A: Thank you so much for your inquiry on the Tonka Truck Steel ratio format.  In the "Steel" segment or truck line Tonka trucks have used the same consistent steel materials for the past 20 years.  The main piece is steel while the wheels, underside and bumper are all plastic.  Depending on your truck style, the following would be made out of steel:  Cab, Engine Cover, Chassis and Dump truck bed.  The plastic pieces are all toy tested to pass all safety and strength tests to keep the truck Tonka Tough!

**Q: What type of plastic is this toy made of? bpa and pvc free i hope.**
A: The only thing that is Steel on this dump truck is the bed and axles. Every other part on this truck is plastic. Very disappointed in the product as well as the marketing.

My youngest loves this truck. It' s larger than the original one, takes some stick and has been up/down a few hills. No breakage.
