Great moisturizer
I’ve been a fan of Natures Republic since I discovered them in Hawaii many years ago. This is a great product, keeps the face moist at night and is light not heavy.

Refreshing but bottle is very hard to get lotion out of.
The bottle is very hard to squeeze. It doesn't have a pump on it so it is very difficult to get the lotion out. Very stiff bottle. It smells nice and refreshing.

Great for sensitive skin!
Pro: Calming, moisturizes, and smells good. Doesn't feel sticky or heavy. Great for sensitive skin.Minor con: Bottle is hard plastic and cannot be squeezed. (But it is very sturdy and can probably withstand dropping on a hard floor).Con: Received on 01/19/21. And what I assume is the expiration (pictured) shows "202104".

Lightweight but moisturizing with dewy finish
Like most of the reviews, no I'm not a fan of the bottle design. Their green tea emulsion that I just ran out of had the same type of bottle. It is possible to get almost every drop by keeping it upside down, but it gets a little annoying, compared to their Argan 20 emulsion that comes in a pump. I'm also not a fan of the artificially smell to this. But, I would actually say this is my favorite emulsion from Nature Republic so far! I have combination oily skin and while I love the popular korean dewy finish I found the Argan 20 and the green tea lines too heavy for me. This one is light but doesn't leave my face too dry. Yet It has a nice natural dewy finish as well, love it!

Great Lotion, but Terrible Bottle
I love this emulsion. It's soothing and works very well under makeup. The only problem is the container. It's a hard plastic container and since the lotion is somewhat thick, it doesn't flow out of the bottle so I tried to squeeze the bottle, but it's too hard to have any effect. This bottle should either have a pump on it or be in a softer, squeezable bottle.

Awesome
This is my favorite lotion for face, arms, legs, feet, hands etc. It is rejuvenating and has a light smell that I love.

Not sure who this is for
I don't love this, and I won't be purchasing in the future.I have several Nature Republic products and I've been very happy with what I've purchased from them, but this is just a miss for me. I feel like it doesn't know if it wants to be a moisturizer, an essence, or a serum. To me the product is too thick to be an essence, not thick enough to be a moisturizer, so I guess I could use it as a serum. There are some great hydrating ingredients in this, like Glycerin, Panthenol, and Beta-Glucan... but I have other hydrating serums that give me that. And there's aloe, which is great when my skin is feeling a little sensitive, but it also has fragrance (Parfum) and Linalool which can be allergens for many people and I just don't like in my skincare. I don't really like the way this feels on my skin - it's a thick gel that turns very watery after application - it's not exactly sticky - but there is a tackiness or film left on my skin after application and my skin felt tight rather than hydrated. This does have a skin-friendly pH of about 5. The product is a VERY light green color, but that color does not translate to skin, it goes on to skin clear. The packaging is nice, for the most part - the bottle is a thick heavier plastic that almost feels like glass and it's a pretty frosted green color (because, Aloe) and a darker green plastic cap. The box and the bottle are marked as recyclable. The applicator is a standard pump, that I far prefer to the dropper type of applicator. It dispenses an appropriate amount of product to cover my whole face. The box I received did not have a tamper proof seal, and I really didn't like that. There is about a year and a half left on the product according to the expiration date on the bottom of the box.Nature Republic is certified to be cruelty free by PETA and this product is marked as Vegan. At almost $20 ($19.90 at the time of my review) this does not seem like a good buy to me. It's supposed to be hydrating, yet my skin felt tight after using it, and the main selling point of Aloe is for sensitive or sensitized skin, yet the product has common allergens in it. This is just a no for me.
