I think maybe this was made for metic pipes? It didn't fit over a 1" PVC nor into a 1.5" PVC pipe. However, a little time with a dremel sander attachment and I could remove enough from the inside of a 1.5" PVC pipe to make the back end of this drain fit snug as a bug!
