I spent quite a bit of time comparing prices for cream of tartar because we go through a lot of it in our house. My kids absolutely love my homemade playdough recipe, and it’s become such a hit that we’ve turned it into a monthly playdough-making activity together. Since cream of tartar is one of the main ingredients, it finally made sense to start buying it in bulk. This package has been perfect for that. The quantity is great compared to the small spice jars you normally find at the grocery store, and the price per ounce is much better. The resealable bag also makes it easy to store and keep fresh between batches. The quality has been excellent as well. It mixes smoothly into the recipe and helps give the playdough that soft, stretchy texture we’re looking for every time. I like it! Rapid shipment, properly packaged, price savings buying in volume! I like buying in large quantity because it $aves money; I also know that I have my ingredient on hand, so I don't need to keep buying the same thing over and over again, at at higher prices in low volume! I am avid baker, actually go through my baking supplies pretty fast. My baking tastes great... brand name really means little to me; its the taste that really matters in my book!

Great baking product so far. I've used it several times for baking (snickerdoodles specifically) and its gone well. Now, for me I like a lot of cream of tartar for that tang, but this one does add a little bit of another odd aftertaste. It's not unpleasant, just kinda weird; I've been heavy-handed with cream of tartar in the past, not just this brand, it was just this one that seemed to have the odd aftertaste. I haven't heard any complaints since that one batch of cookies, so I guess I can't be as heavy-handed with this one since it's pure cream of tartar. I haven't used it for anything besides baking cookies so far, but it hasn't disappointed me. Texture is fine, there's been no problems with it there. No clumps/lumps, no discoloration, flows just fine, no issues at all yet, and I've had this bag for a while now. Big fan of it being non-GMO and not having any added nonsense to it, too. I'm happy with it overall.

This is a great buy. I use it to make baking powder. This is my go to cream of tartar.

I make my own baking powder for almost everything (pancakes, cookies, biscuits, etc.). While this cream of tartar doesn't have quite the "kick" of more expensive brands it still provides more kick then store-bought baking powder. Like I say, it's good but not great. Expect to need about 10 to 15% more of this cream of tartar then of other brands.

Excellent product Great quality cream of tartar . It helps egg whites become very firm and improves the texture of desserts . Highly recommended for baking and meringues

I love this. Doc said I need to uptake on my potassium so I got this. Flavor is so good you can put it in water and take it. Ummmm
