It’s cute and best of all, it protects my daughter from the harsh sun. No sunburn this summer! I like that it’s long in the back so the back of her neck is protected as well. It doesn’t get heavy when it’s wet either which happens to her other beach hats and she ends up taking them off. She even wears this inside the house haha

I'm a woman with a small head 21" Most women's hats are way too big. I ride a recumbent trike in Florida and wanted some sun protection. I decided I could tolerate the unicorn theme in favor of fit. The hat is very light, and appears to be made of polyester. It does fit, and has the mesh panels. The sun coverage is not what you would get in an adult hat, but seems adequate. Since it has been too hot this summer to ride during the day I cannot speak to its protection from the sun. Overall the description on Amazon was accurate.
