It works !!!!!!!
Been watching these for years waiting for prices to come down I noticed this one and went ahead and got it since it was so inexpensive and while this thing is great the court is so long I've used it for several random things. I'm 67 I'm not great on the computer but I can get by I was able to download the app set it up on the phone it actually went pretty quick. I put the app on my home screen and it's super simple I just hit the app with the thing plugged into my phone and it's all ready to go so simple I can't believe it I used it also for a backup camera on my Jeep when I take my boat down to the dock I just stick it in the tread of my spare tire on back door in the cord goes all the way to the front drivers area where my phone is it's like my own backup camera. Just so many uses unbelievable. Planning on using it for my kayak so I can stick it underwater look around while fishing. Ha.

Great scope camera
I had an older scope camera that I had for a few years. It worked but didn't really have enough light to look in the dark places I wanted to go. I needed to change because I changed my charger port from micro to USB C otherwise I wouldn't have looked for a new one. I'm so glad I did. I can easily see 4 feet in total darkness (Where else would you be looking but in the dark). There is a label on the camera that is only the manufactures name but it gives you an "UP" direction for the camera so you can get orientation. There is a dimmer wheel on the cable to turn the LED lights down or all the way off. It also came with a hook, a magnetic and a mirror attachment. I didn't play with those much but I didn't have much luck using the mirror when the LED light was on. I don't think that is a feature I will ever use, but the magnet and hook might come in handy some day. Not sure how far you could stretch it out but the wire is stiff and stays where you put it. So glad I bought this new one. Worked great on my Samsung Galaxy A50 with the OTG viewer app.

Great Buy, Works Good, Not Complicated
As long as you're using this for its intended purpose, it should work fine. Overall, it is well made and you don't need any special software to get it going - on a PC, it's automatically installed and enabled with all applications; on your cell phone, if it supports USB "on the go" (which most do now), it is recognized immediately but adding a simple "endoscope" app will give you more control over focus, brightness, contrast, white balance, etc. I would hesitate to say it will hold up to its IP67 rating - that is much too high based on the fact that you can see where the glass cover over the camera lens is not polished well on the edges, and water will easily get in there. I doubt it will withstand much abuse for the same reason. But, it is cheap and you could have several on hand in case of a mishap. The image quality is quite good, the stiffness perfect. But, beware of two things. One, it's hard to keep a USB C plug in the phone when using a stiff camera snake - it simply needs support other than from the C plug. So, it's going to go in and out of service unless you support it better. Second, the camera is 1080p and most newer apps default higher. So, you will need to downgrade the setting in the app to 1080 or less. My app did not have an exact match, so I moved it to 720p and it worked fine and looked fine. After-all, it's on a phone, so not much good going higher at a 4 in focal length, unless you're looking at tiny stuff.

You get what you pay for, and that's it.
For the few weeks I've owned this, I feel confident to give a decent review of it. Pros: The length of the cable is plenty reaching into any space you need. Great for vents, pipes, and automotive work. The light is very useful for darker places. It doesn't blind the camera and gives it a good view of its surroundings. The cable is fairly stiff, so is has very little sag as you move it around. Cons: The picture quality is pretty grainy, so getting it close to what you're looking for is essential. The camera heats up fast, which worries me that the constant gain and dissipation of heat will damage it. The need for 3rd party software is concerning. Although they offer options, less tech savvy buyers might still fall for malware and scams over it.

nice little 'snake' cam
ok so this is like one of those cams you see in the movies where they stick it through a hole or under a door and look around. it says its focal distance is only a few inches, so meant for down drains and so on. but i wanted to see who was slamming doors in my hallway so i got one and it did just fine. had and older android phone i wasn't using. downloaded one of the USB cam apps (had to pay $9 to get the upgraded version so it would continue to work). worked just fine, could see plenty, clear enough, etc. sure it's a one-time use thing for me but still nifty 'toy' to have around. oh it also has lights you can adjust so if you are actually going down a drain or inside a wall or whatever, you will be able to see. kinda cool.

It's great in all aspects but one, it needs something to straighten it after a certain length.
So, the camera is capable of excellent quality, with video looking amazing. The fact that it also can light up the area you are examining is really fantastic, since it doesn't interfere with the image/video capture. The recommended software is a bit less than fantastic, but free software generally has limits, so there is a cost compromise that can't be avoided. If you plan to use this more than once, I'd recommend you spring for better software. The only feature that I'd love to see is something that can straighten the camera snake/scope at a distance a few feet/meters away. I always get the camera coiled up after 5-10 feet. Maybe a plastic guide could clip on, or have a magnetic attachment so it can be used in heating ducts.

La imagen es muy buena y te ayuda para ver partes ocultas del motor, ayuda a identificar sensores y tornillos en partes muy ocultas o sin espacio para meter lámparas.
