Excellent product but please change the scooper!
Healios helped immensely while I was going through treatment. I got the unflavored, which has a light, pleasant taste. Very soothing going down. Highly recommend. The only negative - PLEASE change either the size of the scooper or the size of the neck of the bottle!!! It is VERY annoying to have the powder sprinkle over the sides and be wasted, because the scooper is too big for the neck of the bottle!

Helpful during head and neck radiation
I drank this twice daily during my head and neck radiation and never had a single mouth sore and did not lose my sense of taste. I don’t know if this had anything to do with it but I’m just sharing my experience. I orig bought the grape (too sweet tasting for me) and switched to unflavored on week 4 of treatments. So far so good. It’s refreshing and soothing to my dry mouth and throat. Best wishes for anyone needing this product. Stay strong. We can do this!

Disappointing
Getting radiation for head and neck cancer. Started taking this around the time my symptoms began. Doesn't seem to be much help, when compared to the severity of radiation side effects to the mouth. Still had to get a feeding tube, and can barely drink water.

Nobel Prize
This product was recommended to me by my Oncology Nutritionist for my mucositis. When my Radiation Oncologist heard her suggest it he said, skeptically, that if there is any product out there that can help me, it would deserve the Nobel Prize. I went ahead and took her advice and gave it a try. It works wonderfully! It greatly reduced the severity and duration of the sores. To be honest, my first thought was that it seemed a bit pricey, but it is well worth it for the results that I got. Here it is 9 months later and when I start to have a reoccurrence, I just use it again. It's easy to use. The unflavored version has a somewhat sweet taste, but in no way strong or off-putting. Not "mediciny" at all. Definitely a 5 star (Nobel Prize worthy) product.

Waste
The included spoon is too large for the mixing bottle without consistently wasting a small amount of powder. While this wasted amount may be small, the spoon size problem is obvious and big oversight
