Some patterns are wrong
Argh! I bought this for the hexa-hexa ones and the pattern is wrong! I spend ages trying to figure it out, asked my husband to look since I figured I must be making a silly mistake, then came on here to see I wasn't the only one.Beautiful patterns and lots of other options to try, but those were the ones I really wanted <sad>

Exactly what my daughter wanted
I didnโt know what these were before my eight year old asked me to purchase a book with them in it. She loves this book I found.

Fun and affordable but a few issues
I love that the book has examples you can cut out and try yourself. . .and some are a lot of fun! However there are some issues I think and I don't know if the author didn't double check the work or if it was a miscommunication with the printer. (1) it is hard to cut some of the pattern pages out as they go right to the seam almost. This can be resolved by using an Exacto knife instead of scissors but a perforated line for tearing pages out could have worked well. (2) I think the image on the back of the infinity loop (mobius strip) should have been printed upside down compared to the front so that when you follow the loop the "right" side is always "up" instead of causing a perspective change that causes the seam to be more obvious and removes the magic of the infinite loop (3) as another reviewer pointed out, the color pattern for the hexa-hexa is wrong and the colors won't line up (4) the instructons for the flexicube show tape on the yellow squares but never tell you when to add that tape and I'm coming to the conclusion that, despite what the examples show, you aren't supposed to tape the yellow.

Challenging But Fun
I bought this for a math night. The fkexigons were challenging, but fun. There were a few I could not figure out even with the wonderful directions, regardless the book was worth the price.

Beautiful designs but some drawbacks.
Excellent assortment of flexagons but the instructions are difficult to follow and the heavy paper with the patterns on them is difficult to fold precisely enough to flex when finished. Beautiful designs, however!

Good book, photocopy the last pages
Not as many designs as Iโd hoped. You can cut out the last pages to make some of the patterns. Suggest to photocopy them so you can reuse !

Overall good concept, but there a mistakes.
The concept is nice as a gift for kids. The simpler flexagons are evidently given correctly, but it was a real disappointment to discover, that the given hexahexaflexagon's design is erroneous, i.e. the painted surfaces are mixed up (not the sequence, but the combination of the front and back-side). Imagine the disappointment of a kid, who would like to have not simply the flexagon, but also the pleasure of "kaleidoscoping" the meaningful images and not a mess of their pieces.

Really liked this book
Really liked this book. The card is lovely for making the models and the instructions are easy to follow. Would have given it 5 stars but the 2 models on p47,48 are impossible to make as the reverse images don't match. Didn't want to return it though as there are still plenty of models to make. Will maybe drop the publishers a line though.
