I am on Zoom quite a lot, and a good webcam is a must. Picture quality is very important to me, but I also need audio that is picked up without issues, and this camera does the trick on both counts. The HD video is transmitted without issues and with excellent sharpness. The audio is also very good and doesn't have any echoing or make it sound like I am in a box. Some of my Zoom calls are recorded, so I have been able to see for myself how well the call went, and I have been very satisfied with the quality in all facets. Installation was a breeze, it is plug and play and my computer instantly recognized it and had it available for use. The privacy cover is a nice feature, and I use that when the camera is not in use. All in all, an excellent product at a very good price.

Exactly what I needed. Almost no set up and works instantly on Windows after auto install. Got it on sale for $15. At full price of $30 would probably still be a decent choice. Great option if you just need a webcam fast. Mounts easily on top of any monitor by placing it on top and bending its swivel bit to face you, and can also tilt sideways a bit. Also has a rivnut so you can mount it to a screw if you have that but no additional parts or information on that is provided as far as what screw or sizing. Tiny privacy sticker is really useful, it creates a window over the camera that you can slide closed. I had to mount the privacy sticker sideways so it wouldn't auto-close on me from gravity but it is better this way. I haven't tried the mic and don't intend to since it will have to pick up all the sound in the room obviously, so I prefer to use a boom mic or whatever mic my headset would use. Has a red LED that tells you when its in use. The auto focus tweaks out some times, but likely it was due to poor lighting in frame, though a way to manually focus would have been nice, but control to that extent is not expected for the price anyway.

Look and Feel:First off, the webcam looks pretty cool and isn't too bulky. It was easy to stick it on top of my computer, and you can twist it around to get the right angle, which is handy. Video Quality:The video looks really clear, way better than my old webcam. It says it’s 1080P HD, and I can definitely see the difference in my Zoom meetings. The picture is sharp, and the colors look good. Microphone:The mic is actually pretty good! I don’t have to use a separate one because people say they can hear me clearly. It doesn’t pick up a lot of the noise from around my house, which is great. Setting It Up:It was super easy to start using. I just plugged it into my laptop, and it worked without me having to install anything. I’ve used it for Zoom, some Skype calls, and even tried a bit of streaming with it. Lighting Stuff: I’ve used it in my room with just a lamp on and also with a lot of sunlight coming in, and both times it adjusted and still made me look pretty clear. I don’t have to worry about finding the perfect lighting. Price:didn’t want to spend a ton, and this webcam was a good price. Feels like I got a good deal for what I paid. Overall:I’m happy with this webcam. It does everything I need – good video, clear audio, and it’s easy to use. Perfect for my work calls and chatting with friends. If you’re looking for something that works well and isn’t too expensive, this one’s a solid choice.

Well made little camera with an excellent picture! This is a great value for a very good price. I was able to use this with Zoom, Teams and Simple-Help without an issue. No drivers needed to be loaded, just plug and play. I have many Wansview cameras throught my property so it was a name I could trust. Some of my cameras are over 10 years old and still work like the day I bought them. Customer service is outstanding!!

I have used Wansview cameras before so I thought I would try the webcam. It works flawlessly. Much better than my laptop camera. You can also place it for better angles, not pointing up at lights, etc. It automatically sets up. You can toggle between the Wansview and the computer camera to see the difference. I use mine for zoom meetings and video calls. There is also a slide lens cover for privacy. I would recommend this camera for any web application.

Here are a few things worth noting: * It has a fairly wide angle lens, which is great, as long as you don't mind a bit of a "fish eye" effect. If you can place the camera pretty much level with your face, it probably won't be a big deal. But if you're aiming it up or down much, the curvature of things like the line where the wall meets the ceiling behind you will be very noticeable. * The picture quality CAN be very good. When I first plugged it in, the color looked very washed out. But when I tried it again on another day, it looked great. What I've discovered is that, depending on your lighting, it can sometimes wash out a lot. So you'll want to make sure you have lights with a color temperature that triggers a good white balance (?) in the camera. I would guess that if you can find lights that works well with it, and then keep them consistent, you'll have good image quality. Alternatively, I don't if it's it's possible to manually set the white balance on the camera somehow. If it is, you might be able to get it to look good with a wider variety of lights. * The sound quality is a bit better than another low-cost webcam I tried a year or so ago, but there is a bit of a hiss when I turn the input volume up. It's not terrible, but it's there. * I like the base -- it works well for putting the camera either on a the top of a monitor or on a flat surface. If you hook it over the top of a monitor, you won't be able to adjust the horizontal angle the way you can with some webcams, but you can adjust the vertical angle. If you want the camera to point the direction the monitor is aiming, this won't be a problem. Overall, for the extremely low price, I'm very happy with it.

I had only two photographs to add. The photo on the left is from the new Wansview 106, and the one on the right is from last year's Wansview camera. I like Wansview products - they are very reasonably priced and work very well. I was happy enough with last year's camera, the picture quality is excellent, even though at times I had found it over-saturated colour-wise, which is why I posted the pictures above. As you can see, there is a clarity from the 106 and an exaggeration from the older one. Because the 106 is very true to reality, I look forward to using it for making music videos, etc. I can use it either clipped onto my laptop screen, or I use it on a mini tripod, depending on my needs at any given time, because the features of the 106 allow for this. I have had cameras in the past that were only clip-on, which really didn't suit my needs. The camera of course works straight out of the box, and, although one reviewer raised issues about USB3 ports not behaving as expected, I have had no such issues. I use the camera on a 2015 MacBook Pro and also on a PC I built in 2017 that has both USB2 and USB3 ports - no issues whatsoever. The picture quality is excellent and the auto-focus works quite well. I am told that the microphone is very clear, which is always a great help, especially for music classes. I've used it for Skype and Zoom without any problem. Another feature present is that the camera sits on a ball joint, so it can be angled up and down vertically, or it can be turned around up to 360 degrees on the horizontal plane as necessary . If you're in the market for a great quality webcam then look no further - for the asking price I can only highly recommend...

Come tutti in questo periodo avevo bisogno di una webcam per le conference call. Vagliate le varie opzioni presenti su Amazon, mi sono soffermato su questa che all'apparenza, a fronte di un prezzo contenuto, presentava caratteristiche tecniche di tutto rispetto. In realtà mi sono anche in parte fatto convincere da fatto che già posseggo due videocamere di sorveglianza di questa marca che per il prezzo pagato sono non buone, fotoniche! Il packaging è standard, niente di particolare da segnalare: scatola pulita e minimal perfettamente chiusa con sigillo di garanzia (nota importante). All'interno troviamo esclusivamente la webcam con il suo cavo usb e il manuale di istruzioni, nulla più Venendo invece alla parte tecnica...la webcam ha un ottima qualità costruttiva, semplice e robusta. I punti di forza sono indubbiamente: - la messa a fuoco automatica (dettaglio che non si trova in tutte le webcam di questa fascia). La webcam segue perfettamente i movimenti calibrando istantaneamente la messa a fuoco - Il microfono integrato, sempre considerando la fascia di prezzo, è ottimo. Il parlato viene percepito dall'ascoltatore in modo impeccabile e chicca, ha anche la soppressione del rumore che consente di eliminare i fastidiosi disturbi e rendere il parlato sempre chiaro e fruibile - L'attacco a monitor della webvam è abbastanza standard, classica aletta pieghevole che si adatta alle forme dello schermo. Anque qua però c'è l'accortezza che non ti aspetti ossia il fatto di inserire anche il classico filetto per un cavalletto cosicchè la webcam possa essere integrata su qualsiasi supporto standard in commercio - nello scatolino è presente anche un ingegnoso coperchietto autoadesivo. Praticamente si "incolla" il coperchio al fronte della camera e in questo modo si ottine uno sportellino a scorrimento che consente di aprire e chiudere l'obiettivo della webcam all'occorrenza. Se devo essere sincero forse questo è l'unico particolare che mi ha lasciato lievemente perplesso. Da un lato l'idea è ingegnosa, dall'altro avrei preferito uno sportello incorporato alla webcam che dal mio punto di vista in termini di costi di produzione sarebbe costato uguale - La webcam è totalmente Plug&Play. Non bisogna fare veramente nulla, basta collegare il cavo USB al PC e la webcam sarà già pronta all'uso. No piccoli CD con i driver dentro molto anni 90 :) - Infine la qualità video, che è la nota principale di una webcam. Beh che dire, per questa cifra se riuscite a trovare di meglio mandate subito il link nei commenti! La risoluzione dichiarata c'è tutta e lo si percepisce dalla qualità dell'immagine e l'autofocus spinge il tutto un gradino più in alto....cos'altro dovrei aspettarmi da una cam a questo prezzo?

Déjà possesseur d'une webcam PC 1080P de Wansview, j'apprécie cette nouvelle caméra pour plusieurs raisons. Tout d'abord, si je la compare à la webcam intégrée à mon PC portable, l'image a un rendu bien meilleur (cf. photos). La webcam intégrée a un rendu moins net et surtout plus fade alors que la Wansview procure une image mieux définie, un contraste plus naturel et avec des couleurs mieux respectées. Je précise d'ailleurs que les photos sont prises dans les pires conditions : un sous-sol assez sombre avec des spots qui éclairent de face. Malgré cela, la webcam s'en sort plutôt très bien. D'autre part, la caméra n'est pas grand angle, ce qui, pour les visioconférences, est un plus à mon sens. L'image reste focalisée sur l'interlocuteur qui est donc en plus gros plan sans avoir une large image avec toute une partie de "décor" qui peut interférer dans la discussion. Enfin, il y a également un autofocus. On le voit nettement dès la mise en route. La webcam fait la mise au point pour que ce soit le visage qui soit net et non un élément externe. Enfin, pas de coupure ni de son nasillard, mes interlocuteurs me voient et m'entendent parfaitement. Bref, je recommande cet webcam au rapport qualité/prix très bon et qui est parfaitement adaptée aux visioconférences en "solo".

This is a fantastic bit of kit for the money! I have gone through about 3 different webcams over the course of the last 3-4 years, either due to poor quality (1 failed on that after coming straight out of the box!), or due to technical issues (one randomly kept deciding not to work!) and one due to my own carelessness! This one has been in use for over a week now and works with brilliant clarity and picture, and with no issues being ‘discovered’ by the PC. I use a webcam daily for work in my home office, and it has never failed me so far. It mounts fine on to the top of my PC monitor, and is stable enough to stay there, unlike others which often can fall off if not stuck in place or without a mount. It connects quickly and easily via USB cable. The audio quality is great, with the usual problem of picking up some background noise, but I wouldn’t say its any better or worse than any other in this price bracket. Major failing for me though is the lack of a privacy screen/cap which I think may put many people off – especially in the present world of fearing ‘who’s looking in’! I also personally thought that the packaging was ‘minimalistic’ for ensuring it arrived safely and that the clamp wasn’t the greatest to fix onto my monitor – but it has all arrived safely and it does work so it is fit for purpose! Other than that, a great bit of kit, which is well priced and will see heavy use in my home office!
