This book really opens my eyes to the power of functional programming in modeling physics as well as the structure to the Haskell language itself. I think more people in the physics community should be familiar with functional programming as the extensive use of operators just works more nicely in a functional programming context as opposed to an object-oriented one. Great book for anyone who is interested in physics, numerical analysis, and functional programming. Review: Really clarified the math for me - Haskell really works with these equations. The pace was perfect for me.

Great Interdisciplinary Book
The “mathematical” structure of the Haskell language is very appealing to me so I have been spending some time over the past few months learning it. I feel like I have been wandering aimlessly writing little programs but this book really gives me a suitable context to learn Haskell as I am already familiar with the physics.
