My last pack of these lasted 6 years out in all kinds of weather, so I bought them again!
I purchased a package of these large clothespins back in 2017. I always start out with good intentions of keeping my new wooden pins in a clothespin bag that I leave out on the line, or in a box that I bring in along with the laundry. But in actuality, after the first few days, they really just get left clipped to the line all of the time. The clothespins worked great and were heavy duty enough for jeans and blankets and didn't twist or come apart at the spring. There are still a few of them hanging out on the line, and they still work fine, although they look pretty sad after years out in the sun and the rain and even some occasional light snow. So, of course, I bought the same brand again. The quality seems the same and they are large and heavy enough that I don't need to double-pin jeans or other heavy items. The pins open wide enough to accommodate bulky items as well as the clothesline and the spring is strong enough to hold them securely even on one of our frequent windy days.

You can't find these anywhere, except the Big-Amz
Looked high and low for these at the big, little "no box" stores. Like "no where's-ville".These are the clothes pins we used to remember. Big, sturdy, dependable and easy to handle. Actually hold your clothes articles on the line in gale force winds - so you can be assured, your favorite bra and panties do not end up being blown down to main street or beyond. If you are looking for the old-fashion big clothes pins - absent the old-fashioned "rounded shapes", these are the closest thing to them.

Strong and smooth
Quality smooth wood, strong and very durable. They are larger than the puny clothespins you buy in the supermarket. I use these in the kitchen to close packages. I love them!

Sturdy big clothespins
I was looking for clothespins as nice as my mom and grandma used. Most are so small and wimpy. These clothespins are big and sturdy. They do the job even on windy days keeping my laundry on the clothesline!

Pricey but worth it.
Energy prices being what they are, we are looking for ways to reduce our electric bill. I had an outdoor clothesline/dryer in our former home, and love the fresh air smell of laundry dried outside.I can also tell you that there is nothing more aggravating than to wash your laundry, drag it outside, spend the time to hang each article up, only to find it scattered around on the ground (or handing off a bush), dirty, because the clothes pins failed.A picture is worth thousand words so I decided to post a few that show the products I purchased. The colored clothes pin pictured is made of light plastic and purchased at Walmart. The pack of 72 was approximately $3.58 without tax (brand 'Mainstays'). The wooden pin on the left is the 4" heavy duty pin I purchased from Juvale through Amazon. The pack of plastic clothes pins is cheaper, but they're flimsy especially by comparison to the wooden one. I fear with time the plastic pins will become brittle and break (as plastic often does with repeated exposure to the sun). The plastic pins do not look very strong.I also purchased a set of wooden clothes pins from Walmart, also compared to the 4" pins from Juvale through Amazon. The Walmart pins are cheap in price (approximately $2.78 for a pack of 100, brand 'Mainstays'), but as one can see, they are not as robust as the Pins from Juvale. I believe the Walmart pins may be OK for hanging up things such as socks and very light clothes (underwear perhaps) but I think they are flimsy like the plastic ones and may break or fail in the wind.I have not used any of these pins as of yet so my jury is still out on their performance. The 4" pins remind me of the pins my Mom use to have, which worked fine. When we finally pick out and install our outside clothes line/dryer, and have the chance to use the pins for a while, I will come back here and update my review. At this point in time, I will go out on a limb and say the larger pins I have purchased through Amazon are worth the extra money. FWIW. . . . .

High Quality Clothespins!
We use clothespins to close bags, hold things up, basically anything you can think of other than pinning clothes on a line to dry, though I would have no doubt that these would do that without a hiccup. We made the mistake of buying cheap clothespins a few years ago, what a mistake! They would bust apart, the wood would crack/split, in the matter of a few years a 100 pack had vanished. The worst part of the cheap ones is that even when they worked the metal spring was so poorly engineered the two wooden pieces would shift so they wouldn't work often without realigning the clip. Not wanting to go down that road again we bought the good ones this time, and I'm SO glad we did. We use these many times a day, all day long, so we're interacting with them constantly. The larger size means they can handle bigger jobs, like a rolled up freezer bag, without a problem. They can also handle the smaller project effortlessly. In the several months we've used this we've not had a single clip fall apart, not a single casualty, no split wooden pieces... It's been glorious. This is a classic case of buying cheap being expensive, we bought the cheap ones, which were only a couple of dollars cheaper on a 100 pack, and they only lasted a few years, these will last a decade or two... Live and learn! It may only be a clothespin, but if you use them a lot or don't want to buy cheap ones regularly give these a shot, you won't regret it.

Bigger than expected and well made
I got tired of plastic pegs that got brittle and break, wood ones are better. These are about twice the size of my old wood pegs and really solid. Great accidental buy.
