Mr. Pen- Bible Gel Highlighters and Fineliner Pens No Bleed, Pastel Colors, 18 Pcs, Bible Journaling Kit

As a lefty with many #leftyproblems I am very judgmental when it comes to pens! The Fineliner Pens are great, comparable to some of my favorite brands! They dry instantly so they don’t smudge as you write, super fine felt type tip for writing small or details. They are pastel colors so some are a little hard to see, while others are more vibrant. The Sleek Gel Highlighters are interesting… they feel kind of like oil pastel crayons. They go on very smooth and are easy to see through. They did smudge the ink of the fineliner pens some, but would be great for highlighting printed texts. I like to highlight first then write over the top, but that was difficult with these because they leave a texture on the paper. They were somewhat difficult to roll up at first - but once they start going, they were fine. I like that you can roll them up and sharpen.

Markers bled through bible but the gel markers are amazing ! Also i really love their products including the pens! Update : changed it from 3 to 5 stars because company reached out to make it right. I’m not upset b/c it is a great company! And they do have amazing products! But these smaller fine tip pens did actually bleed through Bible unfortunately.

Great color selection. I use the gel highlighters to highlight verses in my Bible and the markers to make notes. No bleeding through the paper.

I love the highlighters!! They are so smooth. The pens however are ok. They are not very bright. I went over my words twice when I wrote with them so I can clearly see my writing.

So i really anticipated getting these Bible journaling accessories but i have been a bit deflated since. The highlighter colors are for the most part really nice & smooth. I would reorder them. They don’t (for the most part) leave a wet waxy residue. The pens however are an absolute waste. Only ONE out of the whole batch writes with enough pigmentation to even see! It’s insane that these pens have absolutely NO color! I did get a cute set of paper clips that were complimentary from Mr. Penn, but honestly would rather have pens that i could use. I also understood these to twist or roll out of the casing but they don’t so there’s not a lot of highlighting to be done with one set. I will reorder the highlighters because i do enjoy them but i will try to find them in the future not paired with the pens.

Doesn’t bleed at all, the color quality is amazing, looks like a crayon but cuter, super easy to use, and is fun to use because you can match the markers with your personal notes. Worth every penny, and it was cheap for the great quality! I definitely recommend it (and I want all the colors)

Budget friendly, nice colors. And does not bleed through pages. These have 2 different widths which is nice for highlighting or writing notes!

To be honest, there’s always going to be pros and cons in Mr. Pen or other highlighters. I was concerned about the highlighted and fineliner. But I give it a try. I bought this mostly because my mom likes using fine-liner for her Bible and I like using highlighters for my Bible. 1. I don’t have a problem with Fine-liner. 2. The yellow highlight is a bit light, but I can still see it so it’s not a problem. 3. No bleed or doesn’t see through the page. Lastly, it’s a great value for the price. I had the old version of the neon colors and it lasted for a long time. So I like Mr.Pen highlights and fine-liners. Hopefully, the ones I bought will last for a while as well.

Loved the highlighters. Some reviews I saw had people saying it was waxy and like a crayon - I think the trick is to not press on it and allow it to slide over the page without any pressure. It works beautifully. The pens on the other hand were either dried out and or were so faint that one can't read anything written with it. They went in the garbage. I ordered more highlighters. Update on the Pens: using them on normal white paper they do seem to work albeit not well enough to read especially in low lighting. They would work for colouring though.

The highlighters are two dark. They cover all the words to the point you can’t reread the page. Only good to underline.

Like another person mentioned, these "pens" are basically waxy crayons. Pens barely readable in my bible and pastel highlighters not worth it
