Clover Fabric Tube Maker

This set of fabric tube makers really does work so much better to roll the 2.5 fabric strips and batting together to make a jelly roll rug. Be sure to watch a video on how to use these and it makes it very easy to understand using both of these one behind the other. The larger one is used for the first fold and in front of that, closer to the sewing machine, the smaller one is used to make the 2nd fold. It really increases the speed with which you can make your "ball of rope" in the rugmaking process. I really like the quality of this set; they fit and snap together and apart perfectly. You can trust the quality of Clover products making this a great value for the money.

These rug tools are easy to use, especially because I have stiffer hands with some arthritis. They make it much easier to hold things in place fairly evenly, quickly sliding the parts along, keeping things in line, while sewing at the same time. I don't have to use clips or pins to hold things in place. Included are good, easy to follow instructions. Some of the instruction pictures are a bit hard to see the smaller details but, can be viewed with a magnifying glass. The two larger pieces that hold the back flatter end, are easy to take apart and put together. The two smaller parts that hold the strips together folded in half, are harder to squeeze and take apart because of the smaller stiffer flex of the parts so, I help it by pushing it back out through the bottom. Overall, this is a great functional tool that make it much quicker and easier for this rug making process.

I purchased this Tube Maker to make a jelly roll rug. It works great with the pre-cut batting. I thought it may be too thick to handle, but it worked like a champ. It is now a staple in my sewing room. Super easy to use as well.

Amazing idea and definitely easy to use. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was the lack of instructions as it took me looking up a video to make sure I set it up correctly.

This thing amazing! It works so well I can't believe how much time and energy it actually saves. I don't know how I ever did it without one. It's perfect for making jelly roll rugs and anything similar. MUST HAVE ITEM!
