Survivor Series Replacement Ear Pads for Bose QC2, QC15, AE2, AE2i, AE2 Wireless Headphones

This product is fantastic. I did TONS of research before figuring out which pads to order for my QC2. I was tempted to get the Bose brand (OEM) but they're more pricey. If you don't want to spend $35 on OEM, I highly recommend these by Headcase Audio. If you go with a non-Bose brand, this is the manufacturer to go with because of quality -- which is extensively explained in their YouTube videos and as you'll find in other Amazon reviews.Also note that this is the same product listed as: "Replacement Ear Cushions For Bose Around Ear 2, AE2, AE2i, QC2, QC15, QC25, SoundTrue and SoundLink Headphones" by the same manufacturer and also sold by Ron's Electronic Sales. I happened to choose this option because at the time of purchase, they were $16.99 so I saved a couple of dollars.*** If you still rather pay the price of OEM, Bose does still sell the ones for QC2 on their site. However, the ones that Bose sells on Amazon for the QC25 also match QC2: "Bose 720876-0010 Quiet Comfort 25 Headphones Ear Cushion Kit." I state this based on Amazon user reviews I read for that product. Again, I did LOTS of research for this :)Installation:If you search on YouTube, you'll find instructions on how to properly uninstall the old pads and how to install the new ones. As other reviews I found on Amazon, it's important to make sure you uninstall and install one piece at a time so you can better see where and how you want to properly place the glued parts. Make sure that you're placing the labels of Left and Right are matching properly. In the YouTube installation video, you'll see that the person installing it made the mistake of not matching the sides properly. Although clearly that won't affect functionality, it may bug you looking at the wrong label.

These are excellent and Ron went out of his way to make this a fantastic buying experience. He tells me they are much better quality (the synthetic leather used) than the other ear pads out there, and I believe it. I got a pair of Bose QC 15 replacement pads from Bose but they only lasted 2 years before splitting and deteriorating with normal use. I'm hopeful these will last longer. In part because the replacement head cushion I bought from Ron 2 years ago is still in good shape. So if they are of the same material, I imagine, they will do well. So I highly recommend getting this pair. Ron says that the similar pairs on amazon have inferior material. And I believe him.

I feel this earpad kit is the best out there for Bose QC-15. Not only are the pads in the kit of excellent construction and soft as the originals, the kit includes two sets of liners color coded L and R. I find no difference in comfort.The amount of printed resources is beyond industry standard. I think the installation video is essential. The warranty is clearly printed with all contact info for any problems or returns.I have been made aware of M Shapira's review regarding the smallness of the openings and the compression of the pads against the head. I couldn't disagree more. I will add a little levity for illustration. I was known as a child as Son of Elephant Ears. My father and I share this rather large anatomic variation. My oversized ears fit nicely in these earpads and could not be described as M. Shapira has done. Moreover, my middle son is known as Buckethead or Son of Buckethead and he nor I experience compression for long plane flights with these pads installed. M. Shapira again errs in description. I am completely satisfied.

I've only had them in for a few hours but they feel great. My Bose QC-15's are the best headphones I've ever owned and so I dismayed when the original cushions started fraying and splitting. The build-quality on these replacements looks and feels durable and installation was a breeze. If I need to buy another set -- though I don't think I'll have to -- I know where to go.
