Great product
Iโm not really using this as most would expect, was looking for a flexible clamp type thing to store my four step folded step stool against the wall under the handrail going upstairs for easy access for me to get at easy and this does the trick! I use it like a big rubber zip tie onto the stool and and railing so doesnโt fall over onto anyone. And I can easily get out to use. Iโm 70 now so need easy access to everything but donโt want to keep something like that out in the open. Perfect! Very well made and sturdy. I actually wanted to mount it to the wall but there are no studs at the bottom of the stairs and donโt want to use anchors. So it works for me anyway but I do like that it can be anchored if I want to down the road. Good price.

Great Product
I bought two of these for securing my 10lb CO2 tank in the bed of my 2012 Toyota Tundra. Before installing in the truck, I pre-stretched the straps around the tank on my bench. This made it much easier when it came time to get it around the tank when installed. I installed the straps using (3) #10 1-1/2 self-tapping sheet metal screws per strap; the two outside holes with 3/16" fender washers under them and a standard washer under the middle screw. This added an incredibly safe, secure and reliable mount for my tank. Without the use of fender washers or some large-head screw, these would've been a pretty unpredictable mount and would not have held while trying to strap around the tank. Great product.

An affordable, though somewhat lacking, tank mounting option
I won a 10# CO2 setup at an off-roading event. It didn't come with a bracket, and those designed to secure a CO2 tank (such as from PowerTank) are ridiculously expensive. For $11 each I figured I'd give these Quick Fist clamp's a try. They do work as a mounting option. However, I am concerned that they are not strong enough to keep the tank from flying around if I were in a high-speed accident on the highway. So I added a safety leash made of 1/4" steel rope and anchored to the tub of the Jeep on one end, and the handle of the tank on the other. Now if the clamp does give way in an accident the tank won't go far. If you're just off-roading, not driving on the highway, these clamps (really, heavy-duty rubber bands) are probably good enough, except during an extremely violent roll-over. Still, a safety leash is easy enough to add that you should consider it for your own safety.

Over 6" shorter than described if unmounted
I ordered two of these to stabilize a 9.25" cylinder (5.1 gallon beer keg) and although it is stated on the package that they will handle up to 9.5" diameter as you can see from the photo against 8.5" stationery they are almost 2 inches short of that diameter unstretched. They could probably handle a 7.5" diameter without much stretching. This means they are over 6" too short. (2" X 3.14) unless stretched. Otherwise I give them high marks and they should work well if you have something less than 7.5" diameter but I hope this saves someone else the trouble if you really need to handle 9.5" and your application is un-mounted. Update: I contacted the company and here is what they said: "We have sold this clamp for many years without modification. Most of the time if someone is having difficulty reaching the upper range of a particular clamp itโs because itโs not mounted. I urge you to mount this clamp and try it yourself with a cylinder that would land in that 9-9.5โ range." I did NOT mount the clamp nor did I intend to for my application but I "suppose" mounting it might allow stretching it the 6.28" required to reach a 9.5" diameter. I changed my rating because of great communication/support with the company but I still hope this review helps avoid a return if you plan to use it unmounted. My objective was to let others who plan to use the clamp as I did (unmounted to stabilize 5.1 gallon beer keys) know it won't work for that. As I said initially I give the clamp high marks otherwise so if you are going to mount it please post and let everyone know it can be stretched to the claimed 9.5" diameter. Update: I changed my initial rating to 5 star because of GREAT communication with the company. They informed me that the clamp only works for a 9.5" diameter IF mounted. While I have no idea how hard it might be to stretch the clamp when mounted (my application was unmounted plus I've already sent it back anyway) the company sent me a photo of the clamp around an 8" scuba tank with several teeth left so it seems likely 9.5" is possible. But again, don't plan on using this clamp un-mounted as I did if your application doesn't allow mounting it.

Nice Clips!!
Iโd say better than advertised. Extremely strong and durable. Used to hold a small O2 tank in a boat. Great product for the money.

Excellent for kegerator 5lb co2 bottle
I bought this after having to return another set of co2 mounts for my kegerator because they were too thick. This one is super easy to install with a few screws and even easier to lock the co2 tank in place. If you are considering this for that purpose I'd definitely recommend it.

Not the best idea.
I bought these to hold old 6V lanterns to my firetruck. They are difficult to stretch, so much so that I feel the lanterns are not secure.

Excellent
I used a couple of these to secure a fire extinguisher in the locker of our sailing cruiser. Easy to fit, and gives a "soft" and vibration-free mount.

Sturdy
Used this to clamp a loose connection for my RV's waste tank hose. It works like a charm. It is sturdy and remains in place.
