Allows Half-press Focus
I attached this 2.5mm-female-to-3.5mm-male adapter to a Canon RS-60E3, and it gave me the ability to half-press focus on my Fuji X-T50 and X100v. Works great and well-made. Couldn't be happier!

Works on Fuji X-T30
I wish I would have got a 3.5 to 2.5mm jack without it being a cable. It works and although the cable isn't long it is added length from the Rode videomicro to this. Unnecessary cable that just gets in the way. I found a cheap adapter on ebay for under 2 bucks and went with that instead. I don't think the added length will be necessary on any DSLR camera so I wouldn't recommend for that purpose. 4 stars because it works and my audio comes out fine.

Great value audio cord and works perfect.
Great price for the value of this audio cord when converting the smaller audio to the regular mic cords. I like the design of the small end which makes it easier to detach from the camera. I bought two of these cords to make sure I’m always covered. You never know when you need to adapt and when you’re working you don’t have time to waste.
