The new straw design appears to be hit and miss amongst units. Bought two - one seals flawlessly, the other sucks in 1/2 air and 1/2 water with each sip. The handle layout on the v2 top gets in the way of the mouthpiece. Holds temperature beautifully though, the new tops suck.

I tried other bottles. I keep coming back to these. I can put icy water in before bed and it's still very cold when I wake up in the morning. Straw is wide for easy drinking. Simple to clean too. At this point mine is a bit banged up from carrying it everywhere, but if it were to break, I'd buy another identical one immediately.

I love them. They are the perfect size and everything, and are great to drink out of. My only complaint is the packaging. This is my second set, replacing the first one. My first one had to be returned due to the lackluster packaging letting them get dinged up. The packaging needs to be more robust, because a thin layer of cardboard just isn't enough protection for something like this. Anything knocks the packaging from the outside during shipping, the bottles inside get smashed up. Maybe ship them wrapped in bubble wrap or Styrofoam?
