Im really happy with the blender. This is an excellent quality product for the price compared to other brands which cost over£100 and are the same. Its strong and sturdy and the glass jug is thick and strong. The best bit is that Its so easy to remove and reconnect the jug with the base. (No awkward twisting and clicking nonsense). The blending power is really strong and im sure will have no trouble cutting through anything. I used it to chop up a raw onion and it had no problem with this at all. So im sure it will easily crush ice too. I love the retro look and i will highly recommend it.

After using a measly 270W Blender for my Smoothies, this 1000W Blender from Ariete is wonderful! The previous blender had struggled and I had to shake it to even get it to mix! This wonderful, powerful blender takes all sorts in its stride and mixes all the ingredients fully. No more lumps left in the Smoothie and no more waste. So far, I have only used it for smoothies and only on power level 1. That works perfectly for both soft fruit and frozen. The 'Pulse' setting which my OH used for breaking down large ice cubes, is amazing and it's possible to judge just how small you want the ice to be. It is quite loud when blending, as expected, but not as ear splitting as the cheaper models. The Base, with all the electrics is wipe clean, but the Glass jug and lid can be placed in the dishwasher or washed by hand in a bowl of soapy water as usual. The base of the jug contains no electrics to be damaged. The Jug fits snuggly on the base and the lid has a round glass stopper, through which you can add more ingredients. Very impressed with this Blender and so pleased to give it kitchen space ! Recommended

This glass jug liquidiser is big! It is heavy, and, although it cannot be real bakerlite like an old fashioned kitchen item - it looks like one and feels like one. It feels of really good quality and I probably should have got a lighter smaller one, but this is a beautiful piece of kitchen equipment and feels like excellent quality - I had to keep it. It works like a dream by the way - probably will last until I die I think! :)) I would recommend this liquidiser but may be too big for a small kitchen - I have a large basement where I can store it in its box.

This is a pretty basic blender and you can just more or less use it straight away, without having any need to read an instruction book. It has a pulse setting and several speeds, and you have to use it for no more than 30secs at a time. No probs. It has coped with everything that it has been asked to do and gives a good finished result. The bowl is heavy glass and is clearly marked with max capacity. All that is necessary to start is to place it on the base, with no twisting involved. The is no suggestion of instability and the base remains secure. Cleanup is a breeze, just fill it with water to around the 25% mark and give it a pulse. A couple of drops of washing-up liquid might help with sticky residues but usually plain water does the trick. You can leave it out if you have the room but ours lives, separated, in a corner cupboard. We haven't tried it with ice as yet and I imagine that will make an already noisy machine really loud. We'll see ...

Worst blender ever. Do not bother unless all you need to blend is liquid. Tried to make a smoothie with frozen blueberries and the blender couldn’t take it. Not sure what is the point of having a blender that you need to assist in order to do what it’s supposed to. I thought it was a good deal because it looks nice and has a glass jug but its real value is about £10. If I would’ve kept it I’m pretty sure it would’ve died in 6 months. It’s basically a toy blender with a glass jug. The first time I thought it was faulty so I got a second one. Same thing if not worse. Customers service is super slow and I have to message them many times to get my refunds. Just got myself a Panasonic blender. Much better. I know this is pretty so it’s tempting but honestly not worth it.

This is a very good blender glass jug 1000 W speed a few functions. I found the only problem was no replacement jug because I had an accident with mine and I had to buy another blender. Some products do replacement jugs but this one did not, but it is a great blender and I’m really happy with it.

Very robust. Works well, maybe a bit too fast in blending, but sturdy enough. Well worth the money. There was a problem with delivery . Seller resolved within 24hrs.

The product was great… until it broke after 11 months. There is no customer support, and no way to get it replaced.
