smart switch trigger
using the vibration sensor to know that the furnace blower/fan is running - to trigger a circulation fan plugged into a smart switch. YoLink system is expensive but seems reliable

Fantastic Vibration Sensor & Very Easy to Setup/Install (using on my furnace/HVAC)
I was struggling to come up with a way to automatically turn on/off a sanitizing UVC light I installed on my HVAC ducting. I had installed the "REKO Lighting R2000 Air Purifier Whole House Uv uvc Light" (purchased on Amazon) but the unit itself has no switch. The way the unit comes, once it's plugged in, it's always on, which shortens the life of the bulbs and wastes electricity. The light itself isn't serving any purpose if it's on while the furnace/AC is not running (since no air circulation means no air is being sanitized). I had looked high and low for a smart vibration sensor that works with Alexa but didn't find much. I finally came across this YoLink unit and purchased it right away. I've been super impressed with Yolink's products, and this vibration sensor certainly didn't disappoint. If you already have a YoLink hub, adding this unit takes about a minute, and can then run off the YoLink App or Alexa (including routine trigger). If you don't have their hub, you'll need another 5 minutes or so to set one up. Once I added the unite to the App, I simply set it on top of my furnace, and now when the furnace turns on, an Alexa routine triggers a smart outlet to turn the UVC light on. When the furnace is not running, the routine triggers the outlet/light to turn off. It could hardly work more perfectly. I'm now dreaming up what else I could with these units.I have since bought several other YoLink products and they all work wonderfully, and they have some of the easiest setup I've experienced from any smart products. I called their tech support a few times to run a few different scenarios by them, and I always reached a person within 5 minutes. I hope they keep it up.Yolink products have excellent range and low power consumption due to the type of wireless tech they use (LoRa). Read up on it. YoLink, if you read this, please give your tech support person a raise. I spoke to the same person each time (which is amazing) and he really knew his stuff. Message me if you want to know who it was.

A Great Product from a Great Company
Constantly exceeding my expectations. I own a lot of Yolink hardware and am deep into Home Automation with Home Assistant. All work seamlessly. After using a lot of the devices for a long time, I had one failure. The App on my phone let me know there was an issue. Therefore, the system (includes all of the components) are monitored for health. A rare and complete level of Systems Engineering. On the one failure, I emailed Yolink with the results of the very simple and straight forward troubleshooting. Boom. They were sending me a replacement in minutes. Absolutely outstanding. I have not seen a company at this level in a while. It brings tears of joy to my eyes to find a company like this one. I can only hope that other companies take notes and follow this outstanding example.

Works amazingly as a window glass break sensor
Purchased 4 of these to put on my basement windows in order to detect glass break or vibrations. It works extremely well. If I simply knock on the window with my hand, I'm immediately alerted.

Great useful sensor.
Fies of all, like all Yolink devices, these are extremely easy to set up.Open the Yolink app, select scan from the top menu, scan the QR code on the device. At this point you are basically done. I like to give each device its own name to more easily identify it within the Yolink app and alexa. For example, bwith these sensors, I named them Washer sensor and Dryer sensor. Easy and straight forward of what and where they are.I was looking for something to let me know when my washer and/or dryer ended their cycle. This vibration sensor does the job. I have one on each machine. Yes my washer and dryer plays a little tune when they stop. The issue is, my washer and dryer are in my utility room. Walk out the kitchen door into the garage, then open the utility room door and there they are. There is a solid, insulated cement block wall and two doors between the living area of my house and the utility room. So I do not hear the washer or dryer running, let alone the ten second tune they play when they stop. These sensor solved the problem. Linked to an Alexa routine, when the washer ends its cycle, I hear: "Washer is done", when the dryer is done I here: "Clothes are dry". These are custom saying you can place in an alexa routine. There are setting to adjust the sensitivity, how long to wait to enter no vibration state. If detecting vibration, how often to notify you.I use this sensor to notify me when vibration stops, not starts. That is the other thing, you get to decide how YOU need to use this sensor.
