Good toasted! Very keto friendly!
I have been on the keto diet for 2 weeks now, last week was awful, lol. So many cravings! But I have lost around 10lbs so far, and I want to keep going. However, I am so sick of bacon... and eggs... and cheese... and other meats/veggies... if you're on keto, you know what I mean! Lol. So I bucked up and did something I never thought I would do in my life. I bought a loaf of bread for $12.99. Haha. The price is outrageous- that being said, I am not betty crocker by any means and I pretty much fail at every recipe I have ever tried making (yes even the easy ones). I am a wing it kind of girl. So there is no way I will succeed in making my own keto bread lol. So in my honest opinion, the taste is okay... I mean I would never try it un-toasted. Toasted however tastes pretty darn close to regular bread. I smothered it in butter, and slapped on some smuckers sugar free raspberry jam, and I felt kinda human again! Haha. I have also had it toasted with egg salad on top, and I have tried it with about a tablespoon of natural peanut butter. These all tasted great together. Can I tell that it is no carb- sure. The texture of the bread is kind of thick and spongy. Just like others say it reminds them of a sense sourdough, (feeling not taste) I agree with that. The pieces are extremely small. I would say about the same size as the Sara lee 45 calorie bread. But every time I eat this bread, I am completely not hungry anymore after the first bite. Shipping- supposed to get it in one day, but we had snow so it was 2 days. About 3-4 peices we smushed , but they retained their shape after I took it out of the packaging. I was worried about mold because of other reviewers, and I had no trouble with that at all. I just did the smart thing, kept a few peices in the fridge, and put the rest of the loaf in the freezer. I will take it out as needed. That will make me eat it slower anyway. It is 12.99 lol.. Also I am only going to eat it toasted, so it doesnt matter if its frozen. All in all I am hooked. I have done extensive research on all of the keto websites, and they all say this is for sure keto friendly. 0 net carbs! Good ingredients. Also, if anyone wanted to know if this might kick you out of ketosis, fear not! Lol I ate some on two separate occasions, then used the ketosis test sticks, and not only was I still in ketosis, I actually had more ketones in my system than earlier in the morning. So I'm not worried. Lol. Anyway, I hope this review helped. I am off to go butter my bread and broil it to make a nice french dip sandwich with a little au jus! Yumm! You won't regret it- just do something nice for yourself and buy some bread! Lol have a great day everyone!!!

Don't buy. I'm warning you.
I'm on a new low carb high lean protein diet. So my cravings for carbs have been absolutely terrible. So I decided to look for new options since there's a lot of health products out there now. I saw the mold reviews and decided I was desperate enough to try it. I got it today and I was excited to finally have a sandwich. I look at the product and luckily there's no bread. Now I wish there was. I got the bread which was vaccum sealed and the bread slices were tiny but thick. I shrugged it off because I can easily maneuver around it. When I was done i squished the sandwich to make it softer. Nothing changed. It didn't even get flat. I giggled at the challenge and went ahead to throw the sandwich in the microwave. Usually all bread softens up with a few seconds in the microwave. Not this. I tried again but I didn't want to overdo it and accidentally harden it up worse. I just got the sandwich because I did everything I could and I went to eat... first bite was terrible. This bread wasn't an inch of soft at all. It was just rough and thick. I take a second bite and I nearly puke from a strong chemical taste. I smell the bread and there it was. I haven't tasted anything like this since chewing on random objects as a kid. I could barely swallow it. Now my cravings for bread are seriously gone atm. I feel really nauseous. How can this have any positive reviews?!??

Toasting this bread and then adding butter and my sugar-free coconut peanut butter makes a delicious and easy 3 carb breakfast
I've been using the Keto way of eating for about 5 months, and I just discovered this bread. Having this bread means I can have a lovely grilled cheese sandwich again. Toasting this bread and then adding butter and my sugar-free coconut peanut butter makes a delicious and easy 3 carb breakfast (the 3 carbs is due to the peanut butter, not just the bread). I have also tried the Zero Carb bagels, and I like those too, but this bread is more versatile as I can use it for breakfast toast or for grilled sandwiches. Before I bought this for the first time, I was a little worried about the one or two people who said the bread was too sweet - I definitely don't find this to be the case. If anything, the very slight honey taste enhances my breakfast toast and is great with a grilled ham and cheese sandwich. Is the bread expensive? Yes, but you have to remember they don't have the same type of wide customer group as regular bread at all. Additionally, if I find products that help me significantly being happy and successful in Keto, that is well worth the money.

Alright, high in price but decent in taste.
The taste was fine, bread-like. I mainly toasted it but it would have been fine un-toasted. My only disappointment was that even though I refrigerated it as air tight as possible it still began to mold after 4 days. Desperate for some low carb bread, I cut off the moldy bits and enjoyed it for another 2 days. If you toast it at least some times like I do, then it's likely better to freeze half of it upon opening. Otherwise you have the 4 days to consume it all. At $12.99 it is priced high for a bread-like substance but I'm still glad it is an option. If the price was lower I would buy it a more often.

Best low carb bread option available, period.
This is hands down the best low-carb bread option out there. You can actually make a sandwich with it and it won't fall apart. Ok, that said, its taste pretty much like good tasting cardboard. I mean, its not bad, but its certainly not good either, but its 100% fiber so to expect more than what it is isn't realistic. To expect yummy tasting bread to have zero net carbs is just silly so you should know what you are in for when you buy this stuff. That said, this we always have this stuff on hand. Its essential for low carb diets, period. So your sandwiches won't be gourmet, but they will be very edible. A few things that are just 100% fine and even tasty with this stuff ; french toast with carb free syrup. yeah its not the super thick french toast but poor french toast is still really tasty. Also if you lightly toast this and toss some butter and/or peanut butter its great. Its my favorite "dessert" item. One downside is the stuff is straight up really expensive. I suppose it works out because if you ate it twice a day you'd poop like a horse but for something that is 100% fiber you'd think it could be a bit easier on the bank account. We buy w two pack and freeze a load which does not affect the quality at all.

The most convincing "bread" with good texture
I laughed at the heavy duty plastic packaging but it just shows they invested in getting the bread to you in one piece, not scrunched and relatively fresh. I needed a scissor to punch an opening reminding me of like when you buy razor cartridges, etc and can't just tear it open. I was hugely skeptical. I love bread and it's been tough giving it up on keto. I've tried so many recipes on YouTube for low carb pizza and it all tastes like crap. Nothing close to real dough. To me bread is way more about the texture than the taste. Taste can be relatively neutral but the texture usually makes or breaks any bread product. Now all I did was sample 2 pieces of this bread which I toasted for an egg omelette. And I've got to say that I hardly noticed a difference from some of the regular breads they sell in the supermarket. This thing is definately passable for real bread, at least as far is toast is concerned. It doesn't taste like cauliflower thank God. It tastes like bread. So I'm already thinking I can use it to make pizza. I lost about 45 pounds in keto but put about 20 back on when I went off the program. Largely because I craved sandwiches and good pizza etc. I was missing the bread. Hopefully this is gonna put me back on track.

Very Disappointing Bread Substitute
As someone who likes bread and trying to manage carbs, I was really looking forward to trying this product. Unfortunately, it failed in every category. First off, the slices are smallish square shaped so you really do not get a lot of slices for the very expensive price. Secondly, the flavor is almost like eating cardboard and the slices are very dense unlike the light texture of real bread. Third, it almost tasted stale. Trying to be fair, I tried several different approaches in eating the bread. As a sandwich with ham slices, not good as the bread dominated the flavor even with multiple slices of ham and a generous layer of mayo on both sides. Okay, then I used the product with cheese in a grilled cheese sandwich. This one was passable, but still not very flavorful. Finally, I used the bread to make french toast by completely saturating the bread with egg. Once I added a sugar free thickish syrup, I was hoping this would be the best use. Unfortunately, the bread is so dense, the syrup could not be absorbed very well. Just not very tasty. Here's the bottom line. For the price and the expectation of something even close to bread, this was a major disappointment. I really, really, wanted this to be my answer as bread substitute, but this one is just not it.

Tastes like cardboard
I had never purchased this bread before because the reviews were so bad. I noticed they were better so decided to try it. I can only guess that the reviews were tampered with because this bread is truly bad. I don't expect a lot from a Keto friendly bread, don't get me wrong. But this does taste like cardboard and nothing more. I highly recommend Sola bread. It is low carb and tastes much better. My only complaint about Sola is that it is so tiny. This bread is a little bigger which is nice for sandwiches, but that is the only positive. It is expensive so I will try to make myself eat the whole loaf, but I will definitely never order it again!
