DIDNT LIKE THE COLOR - SO I CHANGED IT :)
great set up! I am using this as a dresser, actually. rather that what its intended for. I needed a place to hang my shorts up, so I opted not to install the middle shelf. That way I was able to install a clothing rod and hang up my shorts as desired. I also wasn't too keen on the color, didn't match anything in my house, and considering they only seem to make the large size in one color... I changed it. Originally just sanded down the pieces that would be visible, primed and painted them all black. I did this before I put it together, so that way I had more control over the mess. Halfway through, I got the bright idea to add a bit of my flare to it, and as you can see... went a little crazy. Im really happy with how it turned out, however. Also, for the top outside left and right cubbie type things, I opted not to install the black mesh cabinet door, that way I could give a home to these 2 infinity mirrors I took from another piece of furniture. Turned out the dimensions of the shelves for the top-right and top-left parts of this thing, just so perfectly matched the dimensions of these infinity mirrors... well... almost. Installed an LED strip behind the metal support bar underneath the top section, as to light up the counter space, and another LED strip behind the metal backing thing, with the oblong hole pattern. to give it some back-lighting, or whatever you might call that. As for the actual product, though. NO complaints. Easy to install. Sturdy materials, looks great (even better now!), and functionality is perfect, and super versatile. Think outside the box! It says "kitchen pantry cabinet" but could be used for a number of things. Options are endless once you use your imagination :)

Storage galore!
The media could not be loaded. We love how much our new pantry hutch has organized & cleaned up the look of our kitchen. It's holding snacks & food, desk items, crafts & all the stuff that I just don't know what to do with (without throwing it out)! My counter tops & bar are cleared off. My everyday items that I need handy are in a drawer that amazes me at just how deep it is & how much it holds. I don't have to dig thru cabinets & baskets to find what I need anymore! Happy with this item is an under statement! The assembly was beyond my ability so my daughter & son-in-law spent an afternoon (6 hours @ a casual pace) getting it all together. Also, this is a very heavy item @ 200lbs. It arrived in two boxes of 100lbs each & the FedEx driver wasn't too accommodating when asked to bring up 6 steps to our porch, so he left the boxes at the bottom of the stairs. It's a very sturdy piece, no cardboard, even for drawer bottoms. It has adjustable feet if there's a need for evening up the levelness. The dimensions are as stated in description. The rustic color with black mesh & peg board backing are complimentary for our decor. I've purchased other shelves in same color & they all blend perfectly. This unit did not come with an electrical outlet or lighting. I've added a small surge protector & decorative lamp. I'm also going to add a small motion light to the drawer that holds my 'desk' items. We love it!

Great hutch but check pieces all carefully
UPDATE: The legs on my unit weren’t mislabeled after all, they were just made incorrectly so some of the holes were “backwards” and there was also an entire hole missing on one. I was able to mess with it and still get the backing on, but there’s nothing I can do about the hole that’s not there. I mean, I could drill a new one, but it’s sturdy enough without it so I’m not going to risk it. Overall, this is a really sturdy, good-looking hutch. Just make sure you carefully look over all your pieces when you get them before starting it, so you can figure out if you can work around it or if you’ll need to contact the seller/return it.ORIGINAL: First of all, these thing is heavy and will be very sturdy when/if you get it fully set up. Second, you need to read through the instructions and lay out all the parts before attempting to put it together. After doing that, you also need to go through the instructions step by step and make sure that every part (EVERY single part) is correctly labeled - especially the ones that are mirrored/used on opposite sides of the hutch. I almost had the base constructed when I realized that pieces 1 and 2 (the legs/lower side bars) had been swapped, so I had to undo several steps to fix it. They have to be installed correctly or the whole base will be backwards. Also be careful because the instructions have you assembling it front side down - which means the drawer slides are constantly sliding down, making installation (and disassembly) tricky. In the process of undoing everything to swap the legs where they should be, one of the drawer slides slid and snapped out which is fixable, but frustrating. I’ve inspected every other piece and from here on out they all seem to be labeled correctly — it was just 1 and 2 that were switched. All that said, it is a really nice hutch - but god help you if anything is mislabeled.

There for you even when you're not there for it
Outstanding piece of supportive utility furniture turned vital. This particular open-but-kinda-not pantry has become a staple in my home kitchen. Not only can it suddenly become permanent housing for dried goods, spices, snacks, and precisely folded bar towels, it is the perfect counter for preparing coffee in the mornings whilst shouldering the full weight of your grief as you shlump over it, crying like a wet sack of dog food, for the state of our economy (main bar top only, the upper shelving will not likely hold grief without structural damage--but does hold mason jars of sugar, flour, and other baking needs like a champ). Highly recommend.

Difficult to assemble
I love this hutch so much. I plan to keep it for many years to come, however it was a bit of a beast to put together. It came in like 96 pieces and took 2 of us several hours to assemble. I do not regret having purchased it, and love it still today as much as I did the day I received it.
