I bought this to go with my kobo. I absolutely love it. It protects but also looks so stylish

There was another very similar Kobo Sage case with a different design that I wanted to buy. The reason I bought this owl case is (1) it had a pen holder and (2) there weren't complaints about the wake/sleep function working like there were on the other case. As for (1) the Kobo Stylus 2 pen fits and holds perfectly. And (2) I tested the wake/sleep function and could see that when I opened the cover, it actually did wake up the Kobo so it was put to sleep with closing. This case also does NOT smell like toxic chemicals like so many cases do. I like the hand holder in the back. The only sort-of negative has to do with this style of case. There are 2 predominant styles of e-reader cases. Ones like this where the stand pops out of the back. And the other style where the whole back angles out and the a flap comes out from the front. The stand for this type of case works for portrait but it's not really long enough for landscape. That said, I still prefer this style of case to the other. Magnetic strength is very good on this as well.
