A well-made, solid quality, no hassle setup and weather resistant camera makes this a good value product. This camera is perfect to monitor your home when you are away, or a vacation home/bnb where Wi-fi is not available. What I like most about this is that it is a wireless setup that can work without the need for a WI-FI connection. It works off a 4G LTE data plan that provides continuous connectivity without interruptions from the internet. It’s portable, you don't need any power cables, just use a magnetic wall mount or the supplied tripod wall mount. The image feed stores itself in either cloud storage or an onboard SD card. The cloud storage option is a subscription based service and I personally like my storage in physical form. Quality wise, the feed you get from this camera is solid and very impressive. Thanks to its night vision, it can record video at night with clear footage. It also includes two-way audio so you can speak directly and hear the visitors with smartphone quality audio. It’s also great for scaring off intruders as it has the option to activate a siren, not very loud but good enough. It also comes with a GPS positioning which can help you to locate the device. This camera is powered by a larger swappable rechargeable battery which can last for months before needing a recharge. There’s even an option to connect this to an Arlo solar panel which means it will always be charged. You would have to buy this separately though. In short, a great versatile home security camera that can be used either with or without internet connection. Its brilliant two-way audio, great audio and video quality with night vision feature, long battery life makes it deserves a five star rating from me.

I’ve had Arlo cameras for over 10 years. Since the latest update to UX4, the system is almost unusable. The Go 2 camera is permanently armed unless you manually disarm every day. I’ve spoken with Arlo support and they have no fix and it’s been this way for nearly a year now. As for the camera its self, the battery drains so fast, faster than the solar panel can top it back up! I bought a second battery as I thought the first one was faulty which it was not. It’s a shame Netgear had to get greedy with their pricing and also update thier system as it worked just fine. I’m slowly changing my cameras over to Reolink. The Reolink 4g ptz it’s SO much better than the go 2.

I have to say these security cameras are getting really good, having been using arlo cameras for a year now, i have to say they have improved in every aspect with this model. Firstly, this camera, is much larger than what you would expect, almost double the size of my other camera. However, with a larger camera, comes better features, like a long battery life, better quality, stronger signal and even a spot light function. Out of the box, you need to plug the battery in, sd card as well, there is a magnetic connector to charge the camera. There are a lot of functions to the camera, such as a strong light on it that can react to motion, you can use it as an intercom, you can get notifications on your phone if motion is detected too which is nice. I have the camera setup to cover my back yard, which was quite easy to do, as all i have to do is just setup the mount on the wall and screw the camera in, because the charging port in easily accessible and magnetic, it's really easy to charge it as you can just connect the charger without having to remove the camera from the mount. The battery life is amazing, my other camera was really good and lasted for a couple of weeks, but this one can last me well over a month, this is with constant recording and sending me notifications. Overall, it's a good security camera with a ton of features that work.

SD card support is misleading, yes you can record to SD card but you need to remove the SD card from the device to view footage. no way to know if it has recorded anything without doing this, otherwise like most other cameras on the market you have to pay an monthly or annual subscription to make it worth while and view videos from the cloud.

It took longer than I'd hoped to set the camera up as it struggled to find our WiFi mesh network. It might have been easier if the camera could use the 5GHz band, but it only connects via 2.4GHz. For remote use, you can use a SIM card, but you'll need a live account with a cellular provider. The motion detection capability and object detection AI is good, and can be tailored not to notify you if certain types of object trigger the camera, such as animals in the night. Recordings are still made, though, as seen by the hedgehog in the video. Day and night vision is clear, and the installed 48.6 Wh battery has only gone down by 12% over roughly 10 days. The battery is charged in the housing, using a proprietary magnetic connector, so the camera has to be taken down to do it. I would like to have seen USB3 charging. The phone app works fine, though we are still in the trial period for the Arlo account, and I'm not sure how much functionality we'll lose once that ends. We decided to use local storage to back up the video, so have put a 64GB Micro SD card in the provided slot. The app allows us to manage the storage and even format the card if it runs out of space with unnecessary videos. TL;DR: So far, so good.

I have used many different cameras in the past including the older Arlo Go with no problem. But this new version just doesn't communicate using the mobile network unless it is right next to and within sight of the mobile mast. I've wanted to replace the older Arlo Go camera with this new version because of a tired battery and the new camera just doesn't work. 2 different Arlo Go 2 cameras were fitted without success, put the original camera back up and worked fine. Have now replaced it with a Reolink not by choice but because Arlo have released a product that isn't fit for purpose.

Solid little camera but just could not get it to work in cellular. SpokeTo Arlo’sHelp desk and they couldn’t resolve The issue either. Shame as I have all ring cameras At The moment and they miss half of things so thought cellular would be great. My friend recommended and he has about 20 which all work great with great Picture quality. Guess I was just Unlucky

Tengo otras camaras arlo. En esta no se puede grabar por detección de audio, ni de forma manual, solo por movimiento. Un gran fallo en el diseño es que el almacenamiento de las grabaciones en la sd no se pueden ver desde la camara, tienes que desmontar la sd y verlo en una computadora (lo pueden verificar en la página de arlo) lo cual creo es inservible. En México no lo recomiendo ya qué no puedes pagar el almacenamiento en la nube.

Di certo non costa poco, ma ha tutte le caratteristiche per renderla una scelta definitiva. Batteria molto capiente che dura tantissimo. Visione wide che prende un area molto grande. Visione notturna perfetta. Software di riconoscimento persone, animali e veicoli con relativa notifica sul telefono e con piccoli clip appositamente creati: perfetto, riconosce tutto e funziona sempre, becca anche un buon audio. App molto stabile e facile da usare. Ci puoi mettere una SIM per collegarsi direttamente a internet se non hai il wifi o se la connessione ad internet cade, quindi a prova di guasti o sabotaggi. L'intelligenza artificiale e il salvataggio dello storico in cloud per un mese costa solo 2,99 euro. Se non riesce a collegarsi a internet puoi comunque metterci una scheda di memoria e salva li. Per finire, se ci metti il pannellino solare, si ricarica da sola per sempre ed è praticamente una entità totalmente indipendente da qualsiasi collegamento (se ci metti la sim) e a funzionamento perpetuo. Forse unica pecca è che non ha lo zoom ottico. Comunque un gioiellino davvero.
