Brewing Mate Home Brew Heat Pad Mat (Adjustable Power)

Simple to use and it adds a consistency to home brewing that is absent with varying room temperature at different times and days.

I'm not a brewer but do enjoy making sourdough bread and struggle to maintain and even temperature in the kitchen, or anywhere in the house these days, to activate the starter and even rise the dough on this and other bread. I finally gave in and bought this heat mat, it worked miracles. fixed the thermometer to the side of the jar and adjusted the temperature to the perfect heat and let the starter do its thing. Then the bowl with the dough sat on it. The mat works really well, even temperature, easy to regulated and cheaper to run than the central heating!

There were no written instructions accompanying the mat, so I had to find out myself... Firstly, the metal temperature probe is not to go inside the carboy, as I thought previously. It is to be strapped outside the carboy/bucket/ demijohn etc, using the straps provided. Following this, everything is working perfectly! Please provide detailed instructions on where to place the temperature probe. I lost over £90 in honey due to lack of instruction. Hence not five stars. Sorry.

Ordered to make kombucha. Very satisfied with the quick set up and it constantly monitoring the temperature for quick fermentation. Would recommend .

I make my homemade bread and getting an even temperature for proving dough is a hit or a miss depending on the temperature in your kitchen/or room. This is good from start to finish 1st prove of dough and the 2nd prove in the baking. This will be good in the winter time when the kitchen is colder. Not everyone has a proving drawer in their kitchen and this does just fine. Not expensive to run about a 40watt bulb. Would certainly recommend. Happy with my purchase

Item came next day great service.2 stick on thermomiters not included they were suposed to be includes why.

El paquete llegò temprano y en condiciones. Uso el Mate Home Brew para hacer Kombucha. Mantenga la temperatura entre 24.8C y 25.2C. Perfecto para Kombucha. Ya no necesito vigilar la temperatura toda la hora. Nota bien: la sonda del termostato se necesita tocar el vaso para leer la temperatura correctamente. Recomiendo este producto.

J'enlève une étoile car il aurait été bien que le câble entre le coussin et le Thermostat soit plus long.Pour un seau de 25L de bière, fermentation a 22 degrés dans un réfrigérateur dédié, c'est assez puissant.

This mat is excellent when I’m proofing bread. Works much better than other mats without any heat control. Only downside was the foreign plug that was fitted, but this was simple to rectify.

The thermostat is not accurate - I set it at 21 degrees but heats up to 30 degrees! It also shuts off and the mat is cold.
