Review: Life saver - Incredible. I tried a cup once and it was a nightmare. It scared me off for a long time. I decided to try the disposable discs after a moment of reconsideration and it was fantastic. It went so well I bought the reusable one and it's my first cycle with it, I'm sold. I have severe cramps, and I have noticed a massive difference with these. I still get them, particularly bad on day one, but when I used tamps I would cramp full time all week. With these, I almost didn't have any. I felt day one, and the rest of the time it was a rare ache here and there. Some days nothing at all. I love that I can sleep with them. I barely leaked overnight on my heaviest day (I normally do with tamps, even the extra supers, and I have to set alarms to change them because even with overnight pads I've had mishaps). I only needed a panty liner for that one night! One thing though, I could auto dump with the disposable option. I also had a few leaks with the disposables, on my heaviest day. With this reusable option, I cannot seem to auto dump. It's said that's because with the size and composition it's a better fit for my body. That's fine, I can deal with that. But it's a little disappointing because I enjoyed the auto dump spring my heaviest days when I didn't want to need longer breaks at work or on the go to handle that. I have decided to use disposables during that time instead so I could utilize that, but the rest of my period the reusable is great. Now about placement. I am in my late 30s, one delivery by c section. I watched multiple videos online and was nervous about getting it right and getting it out. I found it totally easy to get it in and tucked my first try. It was totally comfortable, didn't feel it at all. The disposable ones tend to slip on me while using the restroom and need to be readjusted, but this reusable one doesn't do that. Removing it was a bit of a learning curve. The disposable ones were easier to remove for me, the thinner lining and more pronounced edge made quick work of hooking my finger under it and pulling it out. This one's more flush and rounded and the material made it a little more difficult to do that. I had a mess my first attempt, and I was glad I tried that at home where the sink is nearby and I had plenty of clean up options. The second time, I tried to move more slowly and get the feel for it, but it fell in the toilet. I never had that happen with the disposable ones and it was pretty annoying and gross. I was not at home for that situation, it was a public restroom, so I just had to let that one go. Thankfully I bought multiples, which I HIGHLY suggest for just that situation. But after that I have seemed to have figured it out and no longer having any difficulty with it.
Review: BEST for postpartum mamas! - Okay, so I was skeptical. I have been using a diva cup for about a decade. I recently had a baby and all of a sudden diva cups weren’t working for me anymore. Even the postpartum ones would sink down during the day, leaked, and ultimately were uncomfortable. I was VERY unsure about the disc and felt clumsy inserting it and didn’t trust the self emptying feature. In full transparency, the first day I used it, I didn’t get it to sit properly and it collapsed during a yoga class and when I tell you I BOLTED out of that class haha. Since then, I have put it in and pushed it up against my pubic bone and then ROTATED it. That does the trick. And then even if you self empty, make sure to kinda put it back in place. After I got the hang of it, it has very few leaks, is more comfortable than a diva cup, is easier to empty, holds more, and is easier to insert. For all postpartum mamas, this is the way. And for the diva cup nay sayers, don’t knock it till you try it.

## Features

- SAFE FOR YOUR BODY. Flex Reusable Disc is made with medical-grade silicone that won’t disrupt your natural vaginal pH. Flex feminine hygiene products are made without BPA, phthalates, or natural rubber latex.
- EASY TO USE. Designed for beginners, the patented notch on the disc’s rim creates a narrow point for perfect placement during insertion, while the non-slip rim makes removing this period disc a breeze.
- 12-HOUR PROTECTION. You’ll love the ultra-soft silicone catch, which holds up to 6 super tampons-worth of fluid (70 mL). Flex Reusable Disc also features a firm rim that prevents leaks and seals in odors. Swim, sleep, squat, summit, and do everything you love to do when you’re not on your period.
- UNREAL COMFORT. You might even forget you’re on your period. Flex Reusable Disc sits further back in the vagina, in a place called the vaginal fornix (just beneath the cervix). Once it’s in, you can’t feel it. Upgrade your feminine care!
- SUSTAINABLE & PLANET-FRIENDLY. Our newest period disc is 100% reusable: Just wash it with a mild soap or cleanser in between wears and store it in its carrying pouch once your period is over. With proper care, Flex Reusable Disc will last for years.

**Q: What's the difference between Flex Reusable Disc and other reusable menstrual discs?**
A: Flex Reusable Disc is expertly designed with a patented notch for easy insertion and a sturdy non-slip rim for an easy removal. It's made with premium, ultra-soft medical-grade silicone and has a high capacity of 70mL (that's 6+ super tampons)!

**Q: How long does Flex Reusable Disc last?**
A: Flex Reusable Disc lasts for years with proper care. Don't forget to try out Flex Foaming Cleanser to help extend the lifespan of your disc. Follow the Instructions for Use within the box for all cleaning, care, and usage information.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ make the switch!!
*by A***A on April 23, 2026*

i never leave reviews, but this is only my first day using my disc and i do not have enough good things to say about it. i purchased this because two of my friends brought to my attention that tampons have a lot of toxins in them, and there have been recent studies that suggest that they can cause infertility. they both use the diva cup, but i did not imagine that being something that would work for me. i think i saw an ad for this on tiktok, and the comment section convinced me that it was worth a try. first of all, i was very intimidated by installation. i thought there was no way i would be able to easily get it in place. i stand corrected. i attempted for the first time this morning while i was rushing to get to work, and it was almost ridiculously easy. it takes no effort to place it exactly where it needs to go. i am on day 1 of my period (therefore the heaviest), and i have had zero leakage. the self emptying feature did take me a couple of tries to figure out, but i found that if i lean forward while pushing, it works super easily. i also usually have VERY bad cramps, to the point where i feel like i can barely move. the absolute most i’ve had today is slight discomfort, and i cannot feel the disc at all. i don’t know if it’s the fact that i don’t have a tampon in, if it’s because the placement of the disc relieves cramps, or a combination, but either way, this is the first time in about nine years that i haven’t had a painful cramp on day 1. i will absolutely never go back to any other product, this one has completely changed the game for me!
