I am so much more safe on the roads.
Cars can no longer speed up behind me catching me by surprise. The alarm on my phone (with the Varia app) mounted to my handlebars, has become a great safety feature. The flashing light works to allow the cars to see me, and they slow down now. I feel so much more safe, and enjoy my bike rides on the roads even more than before. When cars approach slowly, I get a different beep and a yellow warning. I can look at my phone to see how close they are to me. When they are approaching fast, I get red warning on my screen, with a different sounding alarm. The power pack goes in my pack Incase I forget to charge the device. It has come in handy several times as a back up power source for my iPhone. I am very very satisfied with this purchase. If you road bike, you need to invest in this taillight/ alarm system. It is an awesome combo.

Works well!
First off, the unit works very well and I feel safer when using it. It easily paired with my Garmin 830. I don't care for the "rubber band" mounting system. Furthermore, the mounting options are limited. Not everyone has the seat post height necessary to mount the unit. My wife and I ride a tandem and have a trunk pack. it blocks the light from the unit. I had to devise my own method of mounting the unit to the rack. This is a negative because many bicycle tourists use racks and we all end up inventing our own mounting methods to get over this. Come on Garmin...a little help here! The company I bought the unit from (PlayBetter) is excellent to work with. My comments above do not in any way reflect my purchase experience with them.

A game changer!!!
This is the first product I think that has made me comfortable riding at night and early morning.I have the Garmin 830 to complement it- and It shows the traffic incredibly well with the speeds in different colors. It's a game-changing product for the night riders!!! Pricey but worth it!

Best co-pilot ever
I don't usually do reviews, but this product is a god-send for road bikers everywhere. Works well, picking up cars well before you can see or hear them. Does pick up the occasional rider but not very often. Connected without difficulty to my Karoo device. The provided mount is a bit flimsy for an expensive item, order the Garmin post mount as well. The PlayBetter team provided quick service. Will use again.

Amazing
I don’t have much to add to other peoples reviews that have loved this device. I am not fond of riding with a mirror off of my helmet, and the radar is giving me the confidence to ride much better on roads. It works great about 90% of the time, but does give you a crazy air every now and then when you make weird turns, or going across traffic at an odd direction that Hass to be reset. Aside from that happening. Occasionally, this device is absolutely essential on all of my rides now to alert me when and where cars are. It allows me to veer even further over to the right when a car is approaching closely, and really shows the car that you are paying attention to them instead of being a jerk has some cars always believe you are, lolI would highly recommend this to anyone that rides a like on highways are roads where there is actual traffic. The reason for four stars is that you have to buy the seat post clamp separate. It is a simple small device to clamp your seat post to the unit, and it should be included. There’s no reason you should have to pay another 20+ dollars for something to clip this to the bike. The rubber band, an attachment piece they give you works, but who wants to trust a $200 blinking light to a rubber band? Garman should be ashamed of themselves for not including that in the package. I pray another stature should know better and not try to capitalize on a consumer for eight $.12 bracket that they charge over $20 for as an add-on, and it’s absolutely necessary at on.

Excellent!
To begin, I give the seller - Team PlayBetter - a lot of credit for being early and putting a personalized message in the package. A nice added touch. This was a bit of an impulse buy for me and it’s easy to feel guilty about it since you can buy a mirror for about $10. Having said that, it is awesome! I write a lot on country roads and so having the awareness of what’s approaching has been amazing. I’ve used it about a half dozen times now and haven’t found too much that I don’t like.Performance wise, it works really, really well. It picks up cars as advertised about 450 feet away and while I haven’t reached the maximum eight I have had six cars on my screen at once. The audible alerts are loud enough to catch my attention regardless of my speed and having the high-speed alert is a nice feature as well. I use it with my RidewithGPS app and it is seamlessly integrated. Battery life seems solid as well. It has become and will remain an indispensable part of my rides going forward. My only ding on it is that it’s hard to integrate with a saddle bag since that’s the install location. Solvable and so mostly just an annoyance particularly given some of the huge benefits outlined above. Well worth the money.

Watch Your Rear! Easily
When you ride in the city or roads, you really have to have something watching your back. This radar device is very powerful, quite accurate counting cars, and I generally have it in the background so I'm alerted for a quick glance when driver's are approaching and a separate signal rings when they're gaining really fast. Strong back light and battery completes it.

Greatly improves situational awareness
Picks up traffic from a quite a distance away, that gives you time to inspect the road ahead and make a decision. Roads here in the midwest are terrible after winter, this means there are times you have to avoid the shoulder. Peloton mode seems to work pretty well.Be warned if there are two cars somewhat close to each other and moving at a similar speed, the device will think it's one car. Look over your shoulder.
